Summary: Ramen Boys is an amazing ramen spot with delicious appetizers and top-notch service. Whether you’re craving a late-night snack or an early dinner, this place hits the spot. Open late until 2 AM, it’s perfect for those late-night ramen cravings. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the overall experience was fantastic. I’m giving it five stars for its authentic food, fast service, and great atmosphere.
Ambience (4.5/5): The restaurant has a cozy, casual vibe, perfect for a laid-back meal. I went around 6 PM, and while it was quiet at first, it started picking up as the dinner rush came in. It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal, especially late at night since they’re open until 2 AM.
Authenticity (5/5): The ramen here is authentic and flavorful. I tried the classic tonkotsu ramen, which is my go-to whenever I try a new ramen place to judge their broth. Their broth was perfect—not too salty, which is a big plus because overly salty broth can ruin the meal and leave you craving water. The noodles were also perfectly cooked—firm and not soggy, which is crucial for a good bowl of ramen. It’s clear they know how to prepare the noodles just right, so they don’t sit too long in the broth and lose their texture.
Flavor (4.5/5): The ramen had bold flavors, and the balance of the broth was spot-on. The classic tonkotsu ramen is highly recommended. I also tried their calamari with truffle oil, which had a subtle truffle flavor—not overpowering, just enough to enhance the dish. While the calamari was decent, it wasn’t the standout dish of the night. The pork in the ramen was tender, and there may have been some cabbage, but nothing particularly surprising beyond the excellent ramen.
Cost (4.5/5): For the quality of the food and the service, the prices are very reasonable. It’s a great value, especially for an authentic ramen spot in Vegas that’s open late.
Service (5/5): The service was excellent. Since I was the only person there when I first arrived, the food came out quickly, but even as the dinner rush picked up, the staff remained attentive and friendly. The fast, efficient service really impressed me, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.
Tips for Visiting:

Try the tonkotsu ramen: It’s a great dish to gauge the quality of their broth, which is perfectly balanced and not too salty. Read moreWow. Just absolutely wow. Ramen Boys, y'all took a huge gamble entering into a market with an already massive saturation of top tier ramen restaurants in Las Vegas, Nevada. And you know what?
Y'all are crushing the ramen game and doing it right. Even on a Thursday night, it was awesome seeing a ton of patrons cycling through. I can already tell that more and more locals and tourists will be making their way to Ramen Boys and y'all are going to be super busy as word continues to get out about how awesome this place is. I'm genuinely dreading the upcoming wait time when y'all become famous.
I went in with high expectations this evening, especially reading all the customer reviews. I was even more surprised when despite being understaffed - y'all literally had only two servers during prime time on a Thursday night - both servers made it a point to make our experience personable, pleasant and memorable. Chris, our dedicated server, went above and beyond and helped us craft an awesome experience this evening. I couldn't help, but smile at how patient, genuine and knowledgable he was about ramen. And trust me, I'm a self proclaimed ramen snob. He made sure to check-in with us throughout the evening.
I ordered the Kuro Ramen, which is my usual go-to at most ramen restaurants, if it's available. And wow. Just absolutely wow. Tonight's bowl was an extremely rich blend of tonkotsu broth and blackened roasted garlic oil simmered to perfection. It was served piping hot - the way good ramen should be, and I couldn't help, but take slurp after slurp. Yup, it was that good.
Seriously, I'd say it was by far one of the best tonkotsu broths we've ever had. Complex. Delicious. Just overall fantastic. My partner and I were huge fans. Big fans.
The noodles were also cooked really well too and complimented the other toppings like wood ear mushroom, chashu pork and soy cured egg. I got the thin noodles, which was really good, whereas my partner got the thick noodles with his RB Signature Ramen. Both bowls were astonishing. My partner rated the chashu above average, where I, unfortunately didn't rate it as high. While the broth and noodles were top-tier quality, the chashu left much to be desired. It was a bit chewier than I'd prefer and I would have liked a bit more flavor.
Overall, Ramen Boys deserves a spot as one of Las Vegas's top ramen restaurants. The world-class service, in addition to the phenomenal and top-tier broth, makes Ramen Boys one of the best ramen places on the West Coast. I'll be...
Read moreLocation and ambience is perfect-- Right in Spring Valley, ample parking within the mini-mall lot, and a larger-than-you-think restaurant with cozy booths and an open design that is both spacious and inviting. Oh, and they deliver on all the usual apps too: Grub Hub, Uber Eats, etc.
Bring ALL your friends-- those that crave the umami savory and those that crave sweet, because Ramen Boys has a phenomenal menu that appeals to ALL!
Yuzu Soda was sort of melon-y-- and WOW! What a lovely fresh fizz of a drink!
Hokkaido Milk Tea: essentially it's "Snickerdoodle Milk"-- I mean, HOLY COW... a cinnamon bun up a straw... it is seriously DESSERT! And delicious!
Tori Kawa Chips (deep fried chicken skin, similar to garlic chips or fried onion!), Corn Ribs (Teriyaki and Parmesan roasted mini-corn), okra tempura, karaage (crispy chicken tenders with a side of mayo and I believe it was miso dressing over shredded cabbage-- a small but mighty touch that I absolutely LOVED!).
Entrees: RB Signature Ramen- the broth was a creamy savory but not salty blend of pork and chicken broth, the pork was soooo tender and I literally cannot decide which I'm more excited about-- the soy cured egg or the pork.
The Signature Tsukemen (Dipping noodles)- the noodles come cold along with everything else (bamboo shoots, onion, pork, soy cured egg, etc) in one bowl, and the hot broth in another. And you know what? I LOVED this-- even more than ramen! I felt like instead of everything free-floating in one bowl, I was able to build each spoonful exactly how I wanted it to be and also maintain the separate-ness that the foodie control freak in me feels is so important. I ALSO loved the mouth-feel of cold with hot... delightful!
Lastly, the sweet potato brulee... is MAGICAL. Seriously... what kind of air fryer do they HAVE back there? The potato skin is crispy and flakes, while the potato itself is soft and pillow-y, combined with vanilla ice cream and black sesame seeds--...
