Hobby Lobby itself is great. But the staff that was in the fabric department this morning was unbelievable. I needed to return 5 yards of fabric. I had 2 separate bundles, with all original receipts, including the handwritten ones with initials of the staff that cut it for me. For returns the policy is to measure the fabric to make sure, you are not shorting them, ok fine.There was 2 older women back there. The one woman eye-balled one portion of the fabric and said, oh this is not 3 yards. Are you sure you got this, from this store? I have to make sure this is our fabric. She then proceeded to measure it and than said, oh it's 3 yards. She snickered and said, oh I work in frames, I don't don't this stuff. The other lady asked me 3 separate times, what was wrong with the fabric, and I said nothing, I just want to return it. They didnt even measure the second bundle. She then wrote up her validation receipts ,and proceeded to pass them to me. I was reaching for them and she dropped them on the table. I am appalled by their behavior towards me. I brought something that was defective from the package, it happens. A woman named Stacey who told me she was the assistant manager told me that the store policy was no returns. I pointed out to her that the box was damaged, and she still would not take the item back. I told her I needed to speak to the store manager. Rashonda the store manager came up, and accused me of damaging the box to return the item. She rolled her eyes at me several times, and I heard she and Stacy talking about me as I stormed off, one of them said, "Fa--ot." TRIPLE check your receipts! 3rd time now, (that I know of) I have been WAY over charged & then received an attitude when I question the receipt. Today, an additional $50 was added to my total because the sale items i was purchasing were punched in the computer incorrectly & the discount was NOT applied. Usually, i do not fuss about a couple dollars here or there if it’s forgotten, it’s not even worth my time. But FIFTY DOLLARS over is egregious! I also did not appreciate an older front end employee make a comment under her breath about “can’t all be happy customers”. 50 dollars is still MY hard earned 50 dollars!
