First of all I just want people to know, please save yourself some money and do not book a party there, I promise you will leave crying, and I don’t mean just the kids crying, I’m a 40 year old woman, and booked a party for my sons 4th bday, and I literally left crying because of how embarrassed I was, how my husband and myself and my whole party was treated very bad.. I should have known that something was going to be wrong. When I was called 3 days prior to his party some little girl telling me I need to get there now and pay the remainder of the party after I already left a 220.00 deposit, I said excuse me!!? We have not had the party yet, I already left a deposit, she says well people are having parties here now, and they are not paying the remainder that they owe when the party is over! I said well I’m not those people I’m sorry that you have to deal with that, but you can’t just think everyone would be like that. She proceeds to say to me are you sure ? Are you sure you won’t leave? Like how unprofessional 1st of all.. no I’m not going to leave that is bad karma I would never do that.. So then she tells me to get there at 11:45 am my party starts at 12pm and they said we had to eat and do cake as soon as the party started at 12 , I said okay that sounds better actually because of germs and all that I thought it would be better. Well we were literally all sitting around staring at each other for 1 hr because the pizza did not come until 12:45 pm, The little kids that work there expect to get tipped out on top of the service pay, and they don’t do 1 thing to make the party nice.. it’s so extremely sad.. while they are coming in vacuuming around our feet, remember I paid for the room from 12-2. so we hurried up scarfed down some pizza that was 45 minutes late, then sang happy birthday really fast And all of a sudden, this man, I don’t know if he was a worker or a manager came in screaming at us talking about put your shoes here and nasty nasty and made us feel so uncomfortable. then here comes another little girl telling me you have to pay the remainder of the party now I was like oh my God all right let’s go geez so I go up and pay which was literally $600 for a party that we basically had a room for 1 hour and was tortured because they rushed us out they told us that they had another party at 2 o’clock coming in so we needed to get out as soon as we literally were done singing happy bday . when I paid $600 for a room for two hours they were literally trying to rush us out at 1:30. I just don’t understand how they could be so rude to a person paying that much money for nothing:-( the playroom was overcrowded with way way too many people, no where to move..I told them I’m not getting out of the room until 2 pm that’s what I paid for and then this lady came in snapping at us telling us we had to get out now! It was 1:45pm, I said no I paid until 2pm and that’s that, she literally shut the door on my mother and her friend hit them in the back.:-( I would never ever leave a bad review for anyone even if I had a bad time, this is very necessary , I don’t want someone to waste there money and leave crying like I did! Please take my advice! I promise you will thank me later, because this place is not going to last, if it stays...
Read moreI didn’t want to give a star but the place is cute. But let’s start we paid our $200 deposit a few day later the staff kept calling asking for the rest of the payment for the party They told us on the phone pay the rest of the balance for the party because people dip off on the bill there so they needed the money before we came. I declined to pay until we got to the party after 3 calls asking for the money and changing if the kids were playing first or eating. We arrived at the playland and it was a hot mess. We had to wait 40 mins in to our party time for clean up ( note 1 hour play and 1 hour to eat in the room) we help the staff set up the party . We had people walking through the party room as if it was a walk way. The pizza from dominoes was burnt and cold. The manager came in to our party at 5:55 and told us we have 5 mins to pick up and leave she has another party. Wow after we waited 40mins for them th figure out what was going on with the start of our party. I spoke to manager about 3 time and she kept coming back saying 5 mins she has another party. I requested a refund for the time we didn’t use she said no then once I said I was going to give a bad review she offered 10% it wasn’t about a 10% we come from out of state to celebrate my grand daughters first birthday to be kicked out Because your over book trying to get money from a party and open play at the same time . I wouldn’t recommend anybody coming there it’s to many people and all the adults hanging around in the ball pit throwing ball at the kids that look to old to be in the pit . Just a waste of money and time . The host was very nice I must say she tired to help but the manager was rude to her. Keep your shoes on because they also had people going off about stolen shoes . They leave your shoes in a plastic tot that’s open In The front nobody is watching . But lesson learned. I’m kind of happy my baby won’t remember getting put out of her first...
Read moreWe’ve been at this place a few times and while we loved it there, this time around was not as pleasant as it used to be. All employees seemed to be school aged kids who were not as involved in monitoring what’s going on on the floor as they should’ve been. One female employee was busy doing her homework, getting herself comfy in the corner booth with her legs up. A little girl was riding a carousel that was way too close to the door (leading to a party room I guess) right in front of this employee when she suddenly slipped from it, hit her head against the wooden molding of that door and started crying. No surprise the employee didn’t even notice it, she was too involved in her homework I guess. I decided to interfere with the word ‘excuse me’ and started to explain what happened trying to suggest that she might want to bring this issue to the management by either childproof that molding or move carousel farther away from the door. At first it seemed like she didn’t even understand what I was talking about, then just responded ‘thanks for letting me know’ and continued doing her homework. Another employee then joined her and they started to work on it together. The main thing these kids seemed to be doing is to bring back the ride-on cars back to the corner where they belonged. My toddler was riding it on and off for a while hanging close by when they almost took it away from him..after doing this 3 times it started to get annoying but I didn’t want to bring it up again and we just left.. Listen this place is already not cheap (I paid over $40 for 2children+socks that of course had to be with their logo but other than that just regular gripper socks that every parent could bring from home) plus tips?? Tips for what? For checking us in by a girl at the register??? You guys better hire grown ups not kids and pay them more and not pass it partially...
