Worst pawn shop experience I have ever had, and I have been to several. In fact, most pawn shops are a huge rip off to begin with. I recommend to anyone buying anything that may want their money back to save the receipt and just return it at the store you bought the item at. At least you will get money fir the item at it's TRUE value. I saw the prices of some of the items in the shop. Kinda steep for half the items. This place is a total rip off. I probably will never return to pawn anything ever. There is always an opportunity to come up with money in this world without hurting yourself. I just couldn't think on it the day I went to this pawn shop because I was very stressed as it is. Also, they give you major attitude when you try and understand why they are ripping you off. And then they treat you like you are ripping them off. Honestly, if they are afraid they can't sell the items at the price roughly around where you bought the items with maybe putting each item at a used price, then they should probably just close up shop instead of giving their customers attitude and a hard time. I really shouldve just kept those valuable items. Who really needs 10 dollars for 4 items anyway when they are worth plenty more than 10 bucks. A couple of the items i gave then i bought yesterday for 12 bucks. See what I'm saying? Pawn shops do nothing but rip you off. Truely. Save your...
Read moreI called to see about pawning items and was told that they would pawn both. When I tried to ask further questions I was rushed off the phone and was told he couldn't answer anymore questions over the phone. So I took both items in and was told that he could pawn either. He kept trying to ask me to sell my computer and I told him no. The purpose of pawning items is to act as a loan and to use your items as collateral. I never had the intentions on selling my computer but what amazes me if you won't pawn but you would buy. As for the necklace, he wanted to give me a speech on how you're only allowed to charge $3.50 for every $100 you loan out in Delco. Yeah but you knew that and you could have saved me a trip by being honest over the phone. Furthermore if you are going to lecture potential clients about why you don't like pawning things, you shouldn't be in the business. It could be false advertisement but then again it could be racism. Very ignorant salesperson. Would never come back, would not recommend and I would save myself a trip...
Read moreI purchased a chainsaw from there store after back and forth and had a pleasant experience with the clerk as i goto the parking lot and pulling out a man pulls up with all kinds of tools in his car and asks me if i wanted to buy anything, i told him to first get a price from the shop and then we could talk if he didn’t like the price they gave him, then the clerk who i just had a pleasant conversation with and purchased a 425 saw , tells the guy and me in a very rude way if you sell him anything i won’t buy anything you got! I was in shock , he even threatened me with calling the police! I said for what? He told me i was trespassing and soliciting! I been a cop for over 26 years and didn’t want any problems so i left! Two things i got out of this! 1) he has no idea how to treat or talk to customers and 2) before you threaten someone, especially a cop, you should learn the law! Never will i buy anything from these...
