I found a really pretty bench on sale. I asked if I could come back and get it the next day with a larger car and they said yes. I called the next day to make sure it was still there before driving a pretty far distance to get it and they said yes and it was the one on the sale rack. Then the manager said in the background to the employee well the sale ended yesterday so it’s now full price. I never saw a sign with a date on it. No one mentioned the sale ending when I discussed the bench. The employee discussed the sale price with me on the phone and then they wouldn’t honor the sale price. Just not a great experience...

Christmas tree disaster diverted! My artificial tree stand broke and my tree was laying sideways against the wall in my house. After searching 9 different stores (lowes, menards, walmart, etc) I popped by thinking they might have something I can use to rig my tree for one last use. They offered me a tree stand from a tree that was broken and they happened to have saved just the stand. Didnt charge for it as it was an extra they had! I’ve passed by this store for several years and finally decided to stop in and see what it was like. As soon as I entered I wasn’t greeted with a “Hello” or “Welcome”, instead it was “You only have 45 minutes!” by and seemingly angry older lady with glasses on.
