Doorways Jefferson Campus — Attraction in St. Louis

I genuinely do not believe there are adequate words to describe this organization, or the value it is serving to the community and to the Souls and Well-being of individuals and families.

After getting into an unfortunate situation, it was recommended to reach out to this organization for guidance and assistance.

From the moment I engaged with the caseworker, I not only felt cared for, but I truly felt as though only my best interest was at the heart and minds of those involved. I will not notes specific names (for privacy); however, I can genuinely say that I would not be in this “better place (mind, body, and spirit)” included, had I not reached out to this organization.

I genuinely pray the Father bless each person working here, and continue to provide the means and resources needed so Doorways can more than adequately take care it’s staff and those they so genuinely try to assist along the way.

I'm unsure what has occurred here, since 2013 I have been successfully able to utilize them for rental/mortgage assistance with no problem. Of course with it being donations we get they don't always have funds, but their communication has always been effective, UP UNTIL possibly the last year, every time I have had to have referrals submitted they have been very slow at replying and communicating, you call you get everybody voicemail, you email it takes a week for them to get back to it. It's unfortunate because when I moved out of state I bragged on how efficient they were with meeting the needs of the population they serve, I advocated for agencies out of state to take a page out of their book, even joined a HOPWA initiative where again I bragged and advocated for other agencies who assisted PLWHA to take a page from Doorways, but I totally do not feel this way anymore. When you do finally talk to someone it's like they tired of hearing from you. They need to stop hiring who they like and hire who ready and willing...

This is absolutely stupid ridiculous and absurd one of their tenants has been stealing and harassing me I called to make a complaint I was immediately pushed aside by a very very rude a front desk person then once I talk to the director Maurice she wasn't there she left a voicemail I returned it no answer I finally got a hold of Maurice I told her about the issue harassment thievery the police are involved Herman concerned with whether or not she got the voicemail or not as a matter of fact she spent 15 minutes of this conversation questioning whether or not I see you left me a voicemail I asked her what's more important the voicemail or the fact that her tenants are stealing she was still on the voicemail this...
