I grew up in this parish. Back in the day, we had 5 priests. The famous Msgr Sullivan was pastor for years. His homilies were long winded. Msgr Meyer was a fan of the teens and we were sorry to see him leave. There were 3 others. I never really had a fondness for the parish, so much that I wasn't even married here nor did I have my father's funeral mass here. And I don't like the fact that they removed some of the beautiful statues which were in the church, though some of the upgrades are positive. I helped clean the church while in elementary school.    Read moreGreat little Parish and Church. We went here for years. Parish has a long life but the school closed a few years ago. Lots of Parish activities. The most recent Pastor has taken things in a rather different way, basically a throw back to many prior traditions. Adding Latin back to every Mass, adding more intricate vestments, adding arcane church traditions back in. This has been met by some new parishioners who welcome these changes and participate in some of them themselves.
