First off, parking. Couldn’t find any free parking. Parked in the lot on a Thursday morning for $2/hr I believe No street side parking nearby that I could find Water was not available, maybe turned off? (February) and no doggy bags. Spots where doggy bags should be provided we’re empty. The park itself was somewhat fun, with the bridge and all. Some (homeless?) would walk by and comment at the dogs, so keep in mind it is a fairly public place. The support for the bridge also made it difficult to kick the ball long distances, if your dog is a ball fetch dog

Why is this a dog park? There are rusted cast iron columns laying on the ground, the grass is almost all dead, and the bridge support structures aren't made dog-safe in any way. And the columns are hollow - great spot for a small dog to get stuck. Cool idea, but it needs a maintenance contact and some more thought put into the design.

The Laclede's Landing Neighborhood totally revamped this park in 2021 and created a great space for Downtown pups. It is clean and really big and protected from rain and snow by the bridge above so the dogs can continue to play in bad weather! Best part of all is that it is free! One of the only free parks in the entire city.

I went there for the first time last week. There was one other dog there...I wish more people went there because it's pretty nice . I like that it's covered by the bridge, lots of shade for the hot summer days. It has a water fountain and a big mulch covered area that the dogs liked running around in. I parked on the street on Memorial drive and walked over to the park. There's also new trails by the arch and riverfront so it's a nice place to walk the dog Very scenic!...

Nice spot for the dogs to run around. Usually not many, if any, here. Some paid street parking next to it, or a pay lot. The Arch grounds are a nice short walk from here. It would be nice if more picked up the poop here though.

Update 4 yrs later... it has doubled in size. Otherwise, same comments as before. Less poop, more trash this time. Still a nice, different spot to...
