Preston Art Glass Studio — Attraction in St. Louis

I cannot say enough good things about Preston Art Glass! I was about to show my house to a potential buyer on a Saturday, but of course on Wednesday a small pane of stained glass broke out of the decorative piece next to my front door. I went into the shop on Wednesday morning and scheduled Jacob to come out on Friday to replace both sides of the door with regular glass. When Jacob arrived, he said he'd probably be able to fix the pane and keep the window original.

Jacob took the entire piece out, took it back to his shop and brought it back within an hour. He installed it and even washed the window. By the time he left, you would have never known anything had happened. AND...it was cheaper than I anticipated!

This was such a relief! I couldn't recommend Jacob & Preston's Art Glass enough. If nothing else, just call them! They will be honest and do great work!!

I took a class at Preston Art Glass almost 21 yrs ago. Dale Preston was a very kind, patient and knowledgeable teacher. I appreciated his friendship, as well as, his extensive experience and knowledge. I learned from the best. I don’t know his son, I don’t live in that area, so I don’t stop by any more. But, if I need any old glass, the right supplies or even a class… or help with a project, I feel confident Preston Art Glass is still the best and most historically authentic, art glass business in historic St. Louis, MO....

My husband and I visited today. We are completely new to stained glass and the shop owner was so unbelievably nice and patient while we asked a gazillion questions. Rather than order a kit online I'm glad we were able to go somewhere and understand what each tool was. Also the selection of glass is amazing. I could have spent all day in there sorting through. Having a place like this nowadays is a real gem. Thank you for helping us start...
