Showed up last Friday running late for what I thought was my scheduled appointment. I see Marco, the owner, walking down the street as I am looking for a spot on the street to park. I roll up and ask him why he is leaving early and he tells me his 6:30 PM appointment had cancelled. I hadn't called Marco, so I check my phone and sure enough, I was a week ahead of my scheduled appointment. Marco could have waved good bye and had me come back next week, but he gladly turned around and accommodated me, while I was already there.

I scheduled with one of the ladies, but a male barber had an open seat so I went for it. In short, I found him to be at least smug, but more likely condescending. He mocked the way I described how I wanted a cut and cited my upbringing in Chicago as the reason why I didn’t describe it correctly.
