I want to give a shout out to Reese at Wyoming Barber Shop. Not only did she fit me in before my flight (by appointment only), she gave me the best haircut of my life - the now infamous Kelce fade! Fair pricing and an outstanding experience are hard to top. Can’t thank her enough. Give her a call if you want outstanding attention to detail.

Craig has been my Barber every 2 weeks for over a year now. He’s an expert in the “military cut”. Today he cut my sons hair for the first time and was very patient and took the time to listen and communicate for a great haircut.

Katie did a great job with my 6 and 2 year old boys’ hair.

Showed up last Friday running late for what I thought was my scheduled appointment. I see Marco, the owner, walking down the street as I am looking for a spot on the street to park. I roll up and ask him why he is leaving early and he tells me his 6:30 PM appointment had cancelled. I hadn't called Marco, so I check my phone and sure enough, I was a week ahead of my scheduled appointment. Marco could have waved good bye and had me come back next week, but he gladly turned around and accommodated me, while I was already there.

I've been getting my hair cut by Marco since I moved to St. Louis just over two years ago and I've been very satisfied with his services. Very affordable and a great quality cut. Old school barbershop feel. He has won my business for...

My normal barber was out of town and I needed a cut so the reviews and availability made me choose Wyoming. I scheduled with one of the ladies, but a male barber had an open seat so I went for it. In short, I found him to be at least smug, but more likely condescending. He mocked the way I described how I wanted a cut and cited my upbringing in Chicago as the reason why I didn’t describe it correctly. After he was done, he explained what I should’ve said for the cut I wanted. 2 stars because the cut itself was decent and the ladies seemed to do a great job, but the experience with this particularly abrasive barber is reason enough...

So glad I found this place! It's exactly what a barber shop ought to be. No gimmicks, just professional barbers in a shop like I grew up with.

I've moved around a lot, so it's hard to find a good barber in each place. Luckily, I found this one shortly after moving to STL. Here are my 3 rules for finding a good barber shop:

  1. can't have "clips" or "cuts" in the name
  2. can't have more than 3 chairs
  3. no trendy names spelled with a "z" in place of an "s". (Sorry, Bladez, I'm sure your orange mocha frappacinos are delicious.)

A sharp, consistent haircut is $13, and they use a straight razor on the neck. Grandpa...
