Rebecca's Wedding Boutique — Attraction in St. Matthews

TLDR; beautiful boutique, top-notch customer service, size inclusive, overall 5-star experience. Every bride deserves to feel as special as I did at Rebecca’s.

Unfortunately, there is a character limit on Google reviews, so I have to condense all of the wonderful things I want to say about this boutique.

I inquired online at Rebecca’s, and other boutiques within an 2-hour radius of Cincinnati, about a specific Morilee dress I was looking for. Most places emailed me back apologizing that they didn’t have it, and wished me luck. However, I received a 2-minute voicemail message from Madeline at Rebecca’s Wedding Boutique that changed everything.

In her voicemail, Madeline first congratulated me on my wedding. She complimented my taste in the Morilee dress I was looking for, and said that while they didn’t have that specific dress in their inventory, they had a lot of similar styles by the same designer, and others, that fit the feel I was going for. She acknowledged my size range and informed me the bulk of their collection ranges from sizes 16-30. She invited me in for an appointment because she was excited for my vision and truly believed they could help me find my dress. Needless to say, Madeline is the reason I made the 2 hour drive to Louisville, and I’m so glad I did.

From the time I walked into Rebecca’s, I felt like the only bride in the store. Everyone was so genuinely friendly and helpful. Whether it was greeting us when we walked in, or stopping to admire the dresses I was trying on, every single person I encountered made me feel like a million bucks. My stylist Heather was a dream. Rebecca’s was the 4th store I had been to, and was the very first one where I felt like my stylist actually listened to me and took the lead. Heather asked questions. She looked at pictures I had. Took into consideration details I said I didn’t like. And even pulled dresses with similar features to the one I originally inquired about so I could get a better idea of what it would look like if I decided to go for that dress. Heather did all the heavy lifting, and she helped me find THE ONE!

The boutique itself is beautiful. I really appreciated that each bride is given their own suite, so you don’t necessarily feel like you’re on display, or sharing your moment with strangers. I appreciated that Heather always made sure I was comfortable, whether that be having a fan ready in the changing room when I inevitably began to sweat, or having different shades of fabric to put under dresses so I could see what it would look like in a different color. She was prepared for everything. And I’m just so thrilled that even as a size 18, there was not one dress I tried on that I had to “use my imagination” for. The session ended in happy tears because I was relieved to have found THE ONE, and to have found it at a place that made me feel seen, and celebrated, and beautiful.

After saying YES to the dress, I was perusing the showroom when I saw another employee return my dress to the hanging rack. We got to chatting about how this dress was only there for the week for a trunk show, and how it truly felt like kismet that I ended up there on that day, picking that dress. Then speaking of kismet, Madeline also happened to be there! She spoke with my stylist and found out I was the bride Heather was working with, so she came out to congratulate me. I told her that SHE was the reason I was there and had found my dress, and that I couldn’t thank her enough for picking up the phone and leaving me that voicemail message. We hugged, shed a few more tears, and laughed at the beauty of the day.

I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Rebecca, herself. I truly can’t say enough good things about the staff, the boutique, the dresses, and the overall experience Rebecca’s provides. I will recommend any bride I encounter in Cincinnati to make the drive to Louisville for the best wedding dress shopping experience around. Words cant express my gratitude, and every bride deserves to feel as special as I did...

I'm posting this because brides need to know where to go... I was clueless where to go when I began my journey to find my perfect dress.. I went to Rebecca's Bridal with my mom and sister by my side.. and it was AMAZING! This was the second bridal store I walked into to find my dress, and let me just say, if I could do it all over again I NEVER WOULD HAVE WALKED INTO ANOTHER BRIDAL STORE! Going to Rebecca's it was a fairy tale, JUST LIKE THE MOVIES we see. The staff was incredible, amazing attitudes and such a upbeat environment. You have an ENTIRE ROOM to try on dresses and they walk you into find your dress and anything you like they just start grabbing and bring it to your personal room to try it on. The room itself let me just tell you- ITS JUST LIKE SAY YES TO THE DRESS on TV, there's a stand you stand on to see your dress off the ground a little bit, I mean it was amazing. The original dress I picked from David's bridal got messed up by David's 5 times until I stopped giving David's another chance to continue to try to fix it.. and with less than 3 months until I walk down the aisle here I was stressing looking for a dress in hopes it would come in on time at Rebecca's. From the moment I reached out to Rebecca's on the phone, to the moment I walked in there to find a dress to the moment we left, it was nothing short but absolutely incredible. Bonus- the owners daughter made a point to walk into my room to assure me not to worry my dress would be here on time.. ON TIME AS IN 2 WEEKS AFTER I WALKED OUT OF THERE. INCREDIBLE. I am SO PROUD to say I am officially a Rebecca's Bride and truth be told it was GOD SENT that David's bridal continued to mess up because the dress I thought I liked wasn't even near "me" at all. I even stressed at Rebecca's bridal thinking I was wasting there time as they brought me dress after dress, and they reassured me THEY WERE HERE FOR ME and had as much time for me as I needed. After we found my dress and we paid and were ready to leave they took our pictures with the sweetest sign and even held up a velvet box and told me to pick any gift out of the box. Y'all don't make the same mistake I did, GO TO REBECCA'S BRIDAL BOUTIQUE FIRST! You wont find a better experience. Most little girls only dream of the day they get to go wedding dress shopping. I fortunately got to live this life everyday for 2 1/2 years as a bridal consultant at a local bridal boutique. Unfortunately, this gives you a different perspective and a higher sense of expectations in what you expect your own experience to be. At Rebecca’s, they went above and beyond my expectations and gave me an experience myself, my mom, and my best friends will always remember and cherish. They even allowed my father to step in for a moment to see me in my dress. (He was patiently waiting out in the car) They provided champagne, snacks, personalized music, and a private room which made the experience that much more personal because we were allowed to truly be ourselves and speak openly/freely. My consultant actually listened to what I had to say with each dress and brought something closer and closer each time until we finally found the one. By the end of the appointment, I was in something totally different than I had ever imagined but it was perfect. She even got to know me enough throughout the appointment that she added some unexpected accessories that I just couldn’t leave without. Each person I came in contact with on the staff were friendly, encouraging but not pushy, and I never felt like if I didn’t leave with a dress it would change their attitudes or the experience. I flew in from Colorado to be with my mom and my best friends and it was well worth coming back to Kentucky for Rebecca’s. I just received my dress in the mail this week and it’s still just as perfect as the day we found it.
