Belltown Pizzeria — Restaurant in Stamford

With so many pizza places opening and making horrible pizza it's nice to have a place like Belltown that still makes amazing pizza, mostly a take out with a few tables inside for people that stop in for a quick bite. The pizza is great but so is everything else on the menu. Nice owner's and employees that are always working hard and making great food. Yes, they make great pizza. They could make the greatest pizza if they upped the portions. I ordered a large pie with 1/2 sausage and mushrooms and extra cheese. Barely could see either topping. It was gathered in one spot on the pie. If you are gonna give miniscule toppings at least spread it out and make look like a lot. Crust tasted great but in my opinion should be a little thicker. I’ve been to Belltown Pizza a handful of times since moving to Stamford and I absolutely thought it was hands down the best pizza in the area. A classically designed interior and literally the best pizza in town. Sadly to say tho, they don’t respect their customers and if it isn’t in their convenience, they don’t care about you. I have gone several times just for two slices of pizza. But if they are somewhat busy they will refuse to sell you two slices and only care about the big pies that will make them more money.
