Frost Entomological Museum — Attraction in State College

I walked by here as a student and never entered. As an alumni, I never was around during the week when it was open. Finally got to stop on a day off before a football game. Really cool place. So much to learn. I loved seeing how student research is making a real impact in the community (like changing state protocol for handling bears with mange). Very relevant and interesting displays. I used to take the kids to see the "bug" museum. They really enjoyed learning and the exhibits were informative. Unfortunately, the museum closed a few years ago with no re-opening planned. Not sure why, the one exhibition room seemed low maintenance. I guess they didn't...
