India Pavilion is AMAZING! -- the most authentic Indian cuisine you'll find! Every single dish at India Pavilion is cooked to perfection, and always freshly made.

Every time we dine at India Pavilion, the cuisine and the ambiance instantly transports us to our beloved India. Every bite is an exquisite savouring of many layers of spices and textures to delight the senses. Whether it's Lamb Saag, Chana Masala, Vegetable Korma, or Chicken Vindaloo, you'll know it's the real deal at India Pavilion. Simply exquisite. No dinner is complete without our favourite Mango Lassi, Gulab Jamun, Keer, or Mango Kulfi.

India Pavilion is family-owned, and that's why there's so much flavour and so much love in every dish. Sohan, Baljinder, and the entire family work very hard to bring the very best Indian cuisine to Happy Valley. We are so very grateful! The entire family is super nice, warm and welcoming!

We have had the pleasure of dining at India Pavilion for the past 28 years. We have always had an excellent experience dining at India Pavilion! We have also had many large events catered by India Pavilion -- excellent, as always!

If you haven't tried it, you're missing out on a grand culinary adventure for the senses.

Happy 28th Anniversary, India Pavilion! You are the epitome of excellence.

India Pavilion dishes packed flavor with well spiced curry ranging from mild to hot and tender choices of meat. Even though the actual food tasted great with reasonable portions, the customer service was not palatable. The bad service began when I arrived at India Pavilion, my friend and I went entered for the first time and apparently we arrived 8 mins earlier than the restaurant is technically open. I apologized and asked if it was ok if we just sat down and waited patiently because it was hot outside. The staff said no and told us to come back in 8 mins. We came back 8 mins later after waiting outside in the sun and were ready to fulfill our hunger. The simple caveats began to evolve into a real customer service gap. The waiter did not check in on my table at all and to make sure everything was fine, the kitchen had forgotten my drink and we were sitting around for awhile before I got up and asked for the bill because our waiter was busy dust panning underneath a dismantled booth not even glancing over at our table. I'm not sure why the waiter was tasking while in the middle of serving our table, however the manager seemed to have instructed him to do so. I want to recommend this place, but cannot because I would not want anyone else to be disappointed by the customer...

I have had Indian food in London and New York (but not India!)-- I have had northern Indian, like this, and ananda bhavan southern Indian as well. The amazing thing, I think, is that India Pavilion serves such a wide range of delicious entrees in a college town tucked away in the mountains of central Pennsylvania. Seriously, the restaurant would not be out of place among the Indian joints of East 6th Street on New York's Lower East Side. All the saag dishes are terrific; the navratan korma, baingan bhartha, and daal makhani are brilliant vegetarian entrees; the chicken in chicken dishes is always tender. Everything is fresh and delicately spiced. My only disappointments have been with the lamb entrees-- everything else has been solid. I have not sampled the vindaloo, but I have asked them to bring the heat on many other dishes and have had wonderfully palate-pleasing and sinus-clearing dinners. Highly...

I got raw uncooked meat and all I get is a half apology and attitude after I was told I would get a full refund. After driving for 80 miles. This is disgusting. It is not the first time I get uncooked meat. I got uncooked meat before, and decided to give them another chance just because I thought they’re busy. But this is the second time it happens. The first time I didn’t even bother calling them. But this is very disappointing. Why would I eat any of there food if I get uncooked meat? Makes no sense. The owner is rude. When I told him I had gotten uncooked tikka masala in the past he said well you should’ve called to let us know, he did not even apologize or care. Very greedy. Never will be ordering from here again.

Our daughter had Chicken Tikka Masala here and recommended this place to us. So, we came as a family and ordered Lamb Biryani, Lamb Korma, Daal Tadka, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Unfortunately, the food was exceptionally bad—period! The only edible items were the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Daal, which was acceptable. We politely informed the staff that the food didn’t taste good and that we couldn’t eat the lamb because it smelled horrible. The person in charge carelessly responded, “This is how our food is, and I can’t do anything if you don’t like it.” We paid and left. As for the atmosphere, the large group seated next to us was cursing at each other in Hindi, using very foul language, and we had to endure it.

I was in the area for work and decided to try this place out. I love Indian food and this place has a great rating. That being said, I loved the 2 dips that they gave me with what was similar to a tortilla chip. only 1 large one. One was like a sweet and a white one that was like a spicy cucumber yogurt but very thin in consistency. Then, I ordered the Chicken tikka Masala. The portion was right, the chicken was good but the gravy was lacking in flavor imo. It was very much like a tomato soup. That was a little let down but otherwise a good meal. It was still good, but I have had better. Worth going to none the less.
