Jamaica Junction — Attraction in State College

OKAY, so I don't normally write reviews for places but this was ridiculous.To start off, I should mention that the older man who works there was pretty cool and everything was going great; I enjoyed looking at the merchandise as I explored the store with my two friends. That being said, after walking back down the stairs to the first level of the store, my friend had handed me back the dollar I was going to lend him when he decided not to buy what he was going to buy upstairs, and so as I entered the one room, I put the dollar in my wallet and my wallet back inside my purse. All the while the other employee was watching me on a surveillance camera in he front while telling my friend that I had just stollen something. After leaving the store with no clue that he even thought I did that, my friend told me. I figured I'd do the right thing and walk back in to politely let the man know that I hadn't taken anything and without even aknowledging me, he pulled out his phone and played a recorded video clip of me putting my wallet in my purse in which he claimed was me "folding something up and putting it in my purse." I then took my wallet out to prove to him that that was what he had seen on the tape and with every attempt I made to try and explain the misunderstanding to him I got absolutely nothing but attitude and disrespect in return. I questioned why he was giving me so much attitude when I was only trying to do the right thing in which he replied, "honey you haven't seen attitude, I've worked in bars my whole life." After that and him saying, "we'll see when I enhance the footage later" it was pretty much a lost cause for me. Totally taken back by this dude's utter disrespect and...

This place is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately as far as bud all they can get away with is D8 or THC-A but as far as D8 and THC-A goes it’s better than most places. Where they really shine is edibles and glasswork. Their products are accurately priced and their business model is completely built upon their extreme kindness and generosity. I’ve left many times with free shirts, free edibles or joints, free grinders, or gotten extreme discounts on good products.

Recently, the LionsDeliver down the road scammed me and gave me a dysfunctional bong, not allowing me room for a refund. Upset, I went to Uncle Mike to see if he could fix it or give me recommendations for a cheap bong. And not only did he give me a fantastic deal on a much more functional and better piece of glasswork, he FIXED THE OTHER ONE! The people here are great and if you care about keeping money sucking buisness like LionsDeliver from being the only option for stoners here, I highly recommend you...

All time favorite smoke shop!! I passed by here for the first time on a visit in 2017 to purchase my first glass vape. Unfortunately my glass broke immediately 3 minutes after walking out of the store because my bag wasn't very secure. I walked back into the store and was helped out by Uncle Mike who remembered me and offered me a discounted one. I will forever remember that as it was my first time visiting Penn State. Since then I’ve continue to support their business. I will be graduating in 2 weeks and love this shop a lot. Uncle Mike is one of the chillest dude you'll ever meet and if you don't believe these reviews, Walk in yourself!!
