UPDATE: So my mother schedules an appt and is quoted $34 on the phone for an oil change. She shows up as scheduled and while waiting, Andy, the manager, gets a smart aleck attitude with my her about my review on Google and my bad experience. She had no clue I had a bad experience & certainly wasnât aware that I advised the world of Google to go somewhere else and not deal with poor business conduct such as theirs. Absolutely no reason whatsoever he should have taken this response with my mother - or anyone, for that matter. I said my peace, made my warning, and it was over. Now heâs harassing my family because of it.
Thankfully, the gentleman she made the appt with, and was dealing with at the establishment, was very kind and obviously honored his quote.
If this is the kind of leadership NTB allows to run their business, maybe itâs time to close up shop and look for an alternative living. I know for certain this is not the kind of business I will ever associate with again. They obviously have no respect for their customers and care even less about their service needs - certainly no integrity. Who does that? Who harasses someoneâs mother because they provided poor service and was called out on it??
Just bewareâŚif you have a beef with them, itâll obviously be a family affair - youâre mother will be sucked into the vortex of their poor service and bad attitudes!!!
Called 5 days in advance to schedule an appointment for an inspection. Was told to be there at 8am and he'll get me right in. Arrived on the day and time of the inspection, at 8am, 2 people were standing at the door in front of me to check in - walkins...I was told my appointment was worthless because on inspections - just inspections - they take first come, first served. Never again...why make an appointment if they will not honor it. This isn't my first disappointment with NTB...find another way.
Got an oil change in a van last week & it cost $27. Got my Explorer done less than one week later & was charged $57. A $30 yo charge in one week and no mention of it. âThey changed companiesâ. Seriously. Go somewhere else & pay what you know...
Read moreOn Tuesday march 26,2024 My wife and I and our cat were heading to Florida on I 81 south from NY. When we heard a grinding noise from under the truck by the tires. We pulled into a a gas station,LOVES, to check it out. . My wife asked for help and a mechanic came out to take a look. He said it is a trouble with the brakes and rotors. He then directed me to NTB in Staunton, VA. and highly recommended them to us. He said they would take care of you. I meet with Trevor at the counter and explained my situation. We had over 821miles to go and over 12 hours to drive we have been up since 3 am with a cat in the back seat. I ask if he could help us He said absolutely! He was very nice, reassuring and personable to deal with. He assured me they would take care of us. Then we meet with Jeremy ,the mechanic and he too was nice ,friendly and professional. He dropped us off, so we could get some lunch, while road testing our vehicle to see what the problem was. They continued to contact us and update us along the way and informed us of other issues that needed to be done. All while we were having lunch. When we returned I spoke with the General Manager, Andy Price, he explained to us in detail all the work that was needed to be done for our safety and well being. He was able to incorporate all the work , for an amazingly affordable price and got the work done very quickly so we could get on our way. These guys were amazing and professional and a real asset to this company I would highly recommend them to anyone. Tks again from a great full retired New York City firefighter and his wife. PS : We were blessed with a ride back to NTBâs shop from the chief of the Augusta county fire Department....
Read moreI was traveling and took my F 150 in for a battery test, since it would not start after sitting for a day. Mentioned that the blower fan only had 2 working positions and one of the lighter ports was not working. I picked it up with both fixed and was told the battery was fine. The next day it wouldn't start again. The Expert tech was off that day. I asked SPECIFICALLY, if I waited in town until the next morning, could he look at it right away. I was told yes. When I arrived, I was told the tech had to finish a job he had started previously and would not even have time to look at my truck that day! Wasted an entire day stuck in Staunton, based on being assured they could look at my truck as soon as they opened! I told the tech I would feel better just replacing the battery. He told me it would be a waste of money and he didn't recommend doing that. Frustrated by having a truck that won't start, but no parasitic drain, I bought a multimeter and tested it myself. Tested fine after being jumped and driven. HOWEVER, when I tested it while my husband started it, it tested 6.2!! Definitely needed a new battery! Did they not test the CCA while being started??? I would NOT recommend anyone go to this NTB in...
