Hyped Cards & Collectibles — Attraction in Sterling Heights

Brought in 3 boxes full of Funkos to try and sell my full collection of things I didn’t want anymore. Left the figures with them all day and came back to them picking 3 outta at least 60-70 figures. I was told by one of the employees that they would pretty much buy any collection considering they just opened up. What really sold me not to do business with them was how they offered me 25 dollars for all 3, 20% of what the total figures were worth. Took the exact same 3 figures over to MIPops and sold the exact same 3 for 65 dollars. Essentially 2-3x more. Now I understand that they have to make a profit somewhere, but 20% the total value of 3 figures together is ridiculous and not worth the business. Wouldn’t say stay away from this place, but be mindful of other options.

For anyone wondering they also fail to mention they go by EBay pricing, not PPG pricing so your better off going where you’ll get the...

Not trying to trash a local business so I'll keep it 5 stars, but was pretty disappointed with a trip to this store today. No prices on singles. When I asked to look at a single card it took nearly 5 minutes to get a price. And then I'm pretty positive the kid giving me the price just lied to my face. I said I was seeing $60-100 on prices -- there was even numbered versions (this was a base auto) selling in that range. I offer $100. He says $120 because that's what it's doing and doesn't budge. I look up prices again just to see if I missed anything, but nope. Really was closer to a $60-75 comp if anything. Felt like he was just trying to take advantage of me but luckily I know what I'm doing/have experience in this space. Disappointing to see they were happy to sell me a card for 2x if I was a...

By far my favorite card shop in a 2 hour radius of Toledo, Ohio.

I've only been there twice but both times the workers, owners? Were freaking amazingly nice and made deals with us. The first time the guy gave us a few free packs.

They also have a rewards system.

Also if your into disney 100, they sell those as well! Which if you know anything about these cards they are notoriously hard to find in person.

I'm unsure if they ship but if they did that would be a major plus coming from someone 2 hours away.
