Strongsville's "Secret Garden." Went to Gardenview with my Daughter & & her Boyfriend yesterday afternoon. It has been years since my last visit & their first but it's still as beautiful as ever. It was so fun to talk to Mark Larosa who is carrying on with Henry Ross's lifetime of work. Mark made the visit so enjoyable for us, and his knowledge and true love & passion for gardening is incredible. He has done a superb job carrying on as a "one Man show" & especially due to the lack of funding and local support they receive. This place is a true "gem" for the City of Strongsville . Rare and unique plantings from front to back fill the place. A great inspiration for me over the years as I have acquired and nurtured many of the specimens that I wanted to adorn my own yard with. It was capped off by Mark showing us some of the clothing that Henry wore hanging in a greenhouse up to the time he passed. I'll be back and encourage others to visit this...

The gentleman that greeted us was very friendly and informative, it was our first visit so me taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers took a while lol, we were almost late for an appointment so we had to run out before getting to finish. The pond life was beautiful and peaceful. This Garden needs a lot of help and a lot of support from the Strongsville comminuty as a whole!!!! We should support our beautiful home town garden with our visitors. Keep up the good hard work Gradenview, can't wait to enjoy it over and over again! This is...

I have lived in the area for the better part of my life and I had never heard of this park before. Someone in my photography club said that it's Strongsville's best kept secret. It shouldn't be a secret, the park is beautiful and well worth the $5.00 fee. I thought that I would spend an hour there taking photos, I ended up spending 3 hours there and I purchased a yearly membership for $25.00. The park is so peaceful and has several benches encouraging you to sit a spell and enjoy the peacefulness. I highly...

I love the Henry A. Ross story behind this garden and came all the way from Kentucky to see it. I wish the city of Strongsville, Ohio would support it more and help out the dedicated gardener, Mark LaRosa more. Every gardener knows how hard the work is and he needs more volunteers. I hope he can continue to keep it open. There is limited parking if you go...but if you are passing thru Strongsville on the way to Cleveland Botanical Gardens then try and stop by and learn the story behind the Garden view.
