I purchased my engagement ring from Chris. Chris hit a home run with his customer service. I walked in knowing little about diamonds and what to look for. He took a good amount of time out of his afternoon to sit and really teach me what I needed to know to pick the perfect diamond. He taught me about the 4 C's so I was able to determine what was important to me in selecting a stone. He showed me many diamonds not hesitating once to pull another out for me to compare one another. Knowing that I was just browsing to get an idea of what to look for in the next couple of months he talked to me until I was ready to leave which was what really made me comfortable and from there on I knew that i was purchasing a ring today.

Previously in the week I stopped into another jewelry store (competitor) in the surrounding area, to get feel on prices to compare.She brought me into one of their back offices for a few minutes took all my information asked me what I was looking for. After telling them what my fiancé wanted. They kept insisting on bringing out different rings and styles trying to get me to change my mind. Keep in mind My fiancé just wanted a nice sized diamond with a solitaire band. They brought a ring out that caught my attention and I said this is nice. And immediately they starting talking about the price. I had casually stated that I was just browsing and I wasn't planing on purchasing today. Pretty much immediately they packed up the rings, shook my hand and asked if I would like them to call me closer to the time that I was planning on purchasing. I felt like a transaction. There was no personalization to the service. I left there feeling like I was just another sale. Notch in the belt.

But at Shieban Jewlers that was not the case. Chris made me feel like I was the only person buying a engagement ring in the year 2015 Not once did I feel like I was just another sale for the day.

I’ve interacted with and developed relationships with many jewelers and Rolex authorized dealers over the years. Sheiban Jewelers standout for many reasons which I’ll attempt to highlight here. In the past, I’ve had both positive and very negative experiences which often times were because (in my opinion) the lack of history and values instilled. The fact that they are family owned (5th generation), have an incredible story (ask!), and clearly value quality (both relationship wise and product) are just a few reasons why we and any of our contacts will be customers for life.

Additionally, Jason was by far the most informed, professional, and genuine associate I’ve interacted with. My career growth is heavily due to my success in sales and sales development. Jason approached and interacted with us in a way that I expect every single one of my own employees would treat their guests. My wife is 8 months pregnant and he made it a point to go out of his way to make sure we both were comfortable offering water, coffee, and a table for us to sit at while he and his team did the running around. He took the time to educate us and ensure we made an informed buying decision.

I was wearing my submariner in which I had a few concerns about. Bringing this up, he quickly had their in house watchmaker (we call him more of a watch doctor) do some quick tests and relieve me of my concerns.

I normally do not write lengthy reviews, but I wanted to make sure anyone who was looking for a family jeweler picks the correct one. I sincerely respect the business Jason’s family has built and they should be proud of the relationships they focus on fostering through the experience they provide.
