I’d give 10 stars if I could. We traveled from Denver to Sturgis for the rally and on the way my Sena headset stopped working. We purchased this headset in Colorado from Cycle Gear in Lakewood (all owned by the same group) I use hearing aids that do not fit in my motorcycle helmet so having the headset working to go back from South Dakota to Colorado so I could communicate with my husband is so important.
Elijah was awesome, welcoming, and helpful in listening to our struggles with the Sena speaker failing and he was upfront that he may not be able to help us but because it was a warranty issue and we had purchased the extra coverage he was going to give it his best shot! Elijah said he said he would have to consult with his managers Tony and Ina. It was a long process but everyone was attentive and let us know every step that was occurring in the conversations to help us! I feel bad that they had a less than helpful conversation with the Cycle Gear in Colorado. Elijah called the Lakewood location to partner with them to help us out and it was unpleasant to say the least. (Cycle Gear Lakewood should be ashamed of themselves!) At the end of an almost 2 hour interaction Tony and Ina were able to help us by exchanging our entire headset which is far above and beyond the call of customer service. From what I understand many of the team members we encountered were actually visitors from other stores here in Sturgis just for the rally. What that means to me is that J&P Cycles has outstanding people working for them nation wide! Every single team member I encountered was a top tier associate from the cashier to the headset installer to Elijah to the managers I was so grateful that we encountered amazing help so far from home. A massive thank you to Elijah, Tony, and Ina. We interacted with several other employees as well that were all awesome! I was so relieved everyone was kind. We will definitely continue to use J&P Cycles for all of our motorcycle needs!...
Read moreI stopped by the Kuryakyn tent at Sturgis yesterday to get a tour pack relocation pad for my 23 triglide. The gentleman from Turn 14 (this guy was awesome) who was working in the Kuryakyn tent helped me find the pad online (it was out of stock and he works for the distributor where you get pad from)then took the part # to one of your employees to have them order it for me and they said they couldn’t do this and then sent us inside the building. Once inside, the 1st guy we came to wouldn’t use his part # and then told us that they don’t make such an item. He then asked for help from another employee and he then sent us to another counter where this guy looked it up and found it, but said he couldn’t order it for me because it wasn’t in stock. The gentleman from Turn 14 informed him that he is the distributor for the pad and he would be shipping them to you in the middle of August and to ship one to me when they get in stock. Your employee refused his request and said again that he couldn’t order for me and ship one to me it because you didn’t have it in stock. This was very frustrating and time consuming (this wasted an hour) as well as...
Read moreTravis from JP Cycles in Dallas helped us purchase a new set of Cardo Edge com systems at the Sturgis rally. He took a great deal of time to explain every detail and compare them with the other brands. He did this not only for us, but for other riders as well. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the com systems as well as patient with all of our questions. Poor guy had to have been talking all day long, but his attitude and attention towards his customers remained outstanding even at the end of a long day, which is when we caught him. It’s rare to see such outstanding customer service as we received from Travis these days. This man deserves to be rewarded and recognized for his outstanding work. Thank you, Travis! We rode 1400 miles home with our new Cardo systems and they were everything you promised they would be. We couldn’t be more satisfied with your service and the product you sold us. Thank you! ❤️ Shaughn and Bubbles from Los...
