When this place first opened it was amazing, great food, great service but the quality of the food and service have severely gone downhill.
We usually order the pizza - at first it was by far the best pizza in town. Now 9/10 the pizza is way over cooked and you are lucky if you get the pizza you actually ordered. If you are eating inside and not at the bar you better sip your drink as refills are few and far between. Even if you ask your waiter/waitress for a refill be prepared to wait 10+ minutes for them to get back to you.
My most recent encounter was last night I ordered the Knucklehead pizza (without sausage and mushrooms) as carryout. I was told 15-20 minute wait, no big deal. I show up to pick up my pizza after about 20 minutes, pay and was told my food was still cooking and would be ready in about 5 minutes, again no big deal. I get my food and go home (I live maybe 3 minutes from the restaurant) - once I opened my pizza box I knew immediately that I in fact did not get the Knucklehead pizza that I hard ordered and it also had the sausage and mushrooms I specially asked to have taken off. On top of not getting the correct pizza, it was COLD! How can a pizza be cold when I waited the original 20 minutes I was told plus waited 5 minutes at the restaurant while it was apparently still cooking?? While I was waiting for my food, I noticed the young lady gave a customer at the bar the most awful look and attitude the whole time I was there. Another lady behind the bar walked up to another customer who was sitting at the bar and asked "what do you want?" Is this how your staff is trained to great paying customers?
I don't sugar coat my experiences with the food or staff when people ask if The Knuckle Brewery is a good place to go. It is also the last place I recommend for someone to go to - I want to recommend a place that will give good service and good food, unfortunately The Knuckle Brewery is no...
Read moreThe Knuckle Brewing Company stands out not only for its exceptional beers but also for its one-of-a-kind interior design. When you step inside, you're immediately greeted by its distinctive decor, which seamlessly merges the rustic charm with contemporary elements. This establishment takes pride in providing an ambient atmosphere for its patrons.
But what truly captures the hearts of many is their mouthwatering smoked brisket. Tender, juicy, and perfectly smoked, their brisket is a testament to their dedication to quality and flavor. The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water, and the taste? Simply divine. Paired with one of their signature brews, it's a culinary experience that shouldn't be missed. If you're looking for a place that offers both a visual feast and a gastronomic delight, The Knuckle Brewing Company should be...
Read moreThe building establishment itself is extremely impressive. There is a spacious floor layout which certainly hosts plenty of individuals during the busier summer season.
I visited during November in the middle of the week a little after lunch. Far from when there is a rush, the waitress seemed disappointed that my table showed up. We weren't checked on and had to ask for our check when we were ready to leave. The food was respectable for the price/portion ratio. Half of a chicken with 2 sides for $16 is below what I would expect to pay. Everyone with my party enjoyed the draft brews that were available.
Overall, the food was decent, but overcooked, and the staff was preoccupied with their dog? I give a 3 stars with expectations that it was a 1 time flook since it wasn't busy. I suspect service/food will be better...
