⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding family-run gem! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Halal Kitchen & Wingeats at 16227 Lexington Blvd, Sugarland; I’m absolutely thrilled by the quality and taste of their food—especially the Chicken Shawarma Roll and Bihari Kabab Roll. The Chicken Shawarma Roll was exceptional! Juicy chicken marinated perfectly, wrapped in fresh bread, and generously topped with their homemade Indian-spiced sauce—a flavorful fusion that was both savory and mildly spicy, delivering an unforgettable taste in every bite. Equally impressive was the Bihari Kabab Roll. The succulent, perfectly grilled kababs were tender and seasoned with authentic spices. Combined with their signature Indian spice sauce, it elevated the flavors, creating a deliciously bold and aromatic experience. And I can’t forget to mention their Goat Biryani I had a taste with our family—absolutely wonderful! Fragrant, rich, and cooked with care, the biryani had tender pieces of goat meat and perfectly spiced rice that melted in the mouth. A true comfort dish done right. Beyond the delicious food, what truly makes this place special is that it’s a welcoming, family-run establishment. The warmth and hospitality are evident from the moment you step in. The staff and owners genuinely care about their customers, making the dining experience even more delightful. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful halal cuisine with a personal touch, Halal Kitchen & Wingeats is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!

Halal Kitchen and Wingeats is a fairly new restaurant (about 2 months at the time of this review). The restaurant is abut to the Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center. Interior of the restaurant is sparsely decorated, but still welcoming and clean. I had the Sweet and Hot Chicken Sandwich combo meal. The sandwich was of a good size. The chicken piece was fried then marinated in the teriyaki sauce and hot sauce. It was mild spice and definitely good for everyone, including people who didn’t like spicy food. The chicken was not dry despite being fried. The bun was toasted, but the top and bottom of the bun have sauces on them, thus the bun wasn’t dry. I loved their fries. Shoestring fries were perfect for easy munching. The fries were coated with salt, black pepper, lemon pepper, red paprika, etc. I could actually taste the slight tart from the lemon pepper. Amazing fries! After my meal, I didn’t feel greasy like what many fried food will do to you. The owners were very friendly and courteous which made me feel very welcomed. Parking is abundant. Their menu has a bit of everything. I will definitely try other food items here.

I was driving down Lexington Blvd near Highway 6, right by Sugar Land Town Center, when I noticed Halal Kitchen and Wingeats next to the Sugar Land Ice Rink. I decided to stop by and support this new local restaurant—and I’m so glad I did! The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the place had a clean, modern vibe. I ordered the double cheeseburger and truthfully, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and stacked just right. You can really taste the quality and care they put into it. And a great presentation! It’s not easy to find a spot that nails both amazing food and great service, but this place does exactly that. I’ll absolutely be back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to check it out. Support local—you won’t regret it!

I first want to apologize to the owners for this delayed review, but I did promise that I would rate and review.

This restaurant replaced the Habibi Kitchen, which was in the location for years prior. I went there for some Habibi's and initially thought they had undergone a remodeling and added some new menu options. After speaking with the owners, I was informed that this was a completely different restaurant and was under new ownership (hence the change in everything).

Having initially coming for a chicken and rice plate, I was glad that they had these items on their menu, so I ordered the mixed gyro with rice plate. I also ordered some of their chicken wings, having taken interest in several of their other menu items.

As I waited for my order, I struck up a great conversation with one of the owners and we discussed our careers (his former career is related to my current career), families, and the plans that they had for the establishment.

We conversed until I was interrupted by a phone call I needed to take that took the remainder of my wait time.

After finally being able to break open my lunch, the gyro and rice plate stood no chance. It was swiftly devoured with enjoyment in every bite. I am a bit of a spice fanatic, so I ordered the spiciest wings that they had. I was slightly disappointed that the spice level wasn't as hot as I was expecting, but for what it was worth, it was packed with flavor.

All in all, I enjoyed my lunch and I do have plans of returning to try other menu items. I look forward to seeing what the finished remodel will present us with and I wish the owners prolonged success with their restaurant. I'll have to remember to take...
