I made a in-store return of an item I purchased online from Saks off 5th through Paypal at the Sugarland location while I was in town. My return was processed by a woman named Norma on Feb 6, 2021. I reached out to their corporate Customer Service line because I never got notification from Paypal that received a return initiation from Saks off 5th. At other places where I used Paypal to purchase, I have either received cash or had the balance returned to my card. I always received notification when the item was processed for return, in this case, the notification would have come on Feb 6 or the following business day. On Feb 12, 2021 I called the corporate office and they said they had to reach out to the store. I called the store and spoke to Krystal, who I assume was Krystal Hall, the store manager listed on the receipts. I first asked her how they process Paypal returns to see what the process is. Then I explained my problem. She said they have been having issues with processing Paypal returns. I asked her why they didn't just give me cash when I came in if this is an ongoing issue... She started placing the blame on Paypal and that there was nothing she could do because I couldn't come in store (I live in Corpus Christi). Beware that Saks off 5th is processing transactions through Paypal despite the ongoing issue of them not being able to properly...
Read moreThey have a very rude lady employee there. She won't tell me her name but I reported her to the manager. I was trying to see how the purse would look like on me but I couldn't find a mirror in the purse section close by. But i found one across in the shoe section so I went there with the purse and try to see how it looks like in the mirror. Then this rude lady came and told me that I can't and should not be in the shoe section. So I said " excuse me? and why is that that I'm not allowed to be here. I'm trying to use the mirror." She said: " because there is one near the bag section". Can you imagine that? So I replied, I'm a frequent customer and I can go anywhere I want to be in the store. And I've been in this store all the time and this is the first time someone tells me I have to confine myself in one department. She also reprimanded me for having or bringing the shopping cart in the shoe section. Oh my God! It's New year's day and there's barely anyone shopping and you can only count the few who are there today. It's not like I'm blocking the way with the cart. I feel like I wanna slap her for her stupidity and rudeness. Never had I encounter a saleslady who will tell a customer such things. I hope she gets fired. She has no business working there. Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would but I want everyone to read this review, I don’t write reviews but I went to this store today and was trying to purchase a Valentino purse which is in a locked section you have to call a rep to unlock it which is what I did, she was checking out several other customers at the time so I waited 5 minutes and told her again the she said she would send someone, another rep walked and started checking out other customers on the other register all while I was waiting for a rep to unlock the purse, they were looking at me the entire time so it’s not like they forgot I was there or I had asked for help several times. That’s not even what made me mad, 20 minutes passed so I just started walking by the store and checking out other purses and they supposedly have a section that I walked into that I wasn’t suppose to where they have Gucci purses etc and now the lady at register screamed at me and said “you can’t go in there get out of there” in front of everyone and insulted me remind you there wasn’t a sign or nothing outside, then I got upset that I am trying to buy a $500 purse and they are treating me like this but I ended up buying it anyways so I can get somebody’s attention that I was a good client that they lost.
