I was at this location last night around 8:00pm and returned some black silk pants with white strip at the last register by the exit door. I returned the pants and received my refund of $15.14 in cash. Immediately after I purchased my Fiji water which was $2.89 that was paid with cash . I gave the cashier $5.89 which I was suppose to receive $3.00 in cash back . Not realizing she did gove me my change of $3.00 back until I was outside the door and I immediately came back in to let her know that she didn’t give me my $3.00 and she said she did. I showed her all the money I had and everything in my purse . She said the manager had to check the footage on the camera and she came about 30 minutes later showing me that she had given me the money back . Change first then dollars with the receipt. I told her that was when she was giving me my refund because if I gave her $2.89 why she had to give me change if i suppose to get $3.00 even back in cash. I told her if you have footage of me receiving money and I bought the water next why you can’t see that footage when she was suppose to give the $3.00 back . Well she took my number and told me she would call me today to come back and get the money she would leave it there for me . She never called I called about 4:00 and as I figured she lied and said she called and left voicemail and that she couldn’t do anything . Karma...
Read moreI visited Ross a couple of weeks ago and the lady at checkout forgot to put a paid item in our bag. I didn't realize it was missing until I got home. I called the store and told them what had happened and that I wasn't able to come back to the store that night. They said to just come back anytime and show the receipt. I went back today and after about 15 minutes of reviewing the camera footage from that day, the manager and a loss prevention guy told me I had received all my items and actually came back in the store to purchase an additional item. I showed them my bank transactions because I always use my card and they said I could have paid cash. Luckily I remembered that day there was a customer in front of me who forgot to pay for an item that his child had in the cart. I had to beg the Ross employees to review the footage again so they reluctantly went back still not believing me. Another 10 minutes later they came back, didn't apologize and just told me the footage wasn't clear but since the item was only $5, they would go ahead and give it to me. I told them not to act like they were doing me a favor because they basically accused me of lying first. The majority of employees at this location are great but because of these two, including the manager, Roberto G, we won't be visiting this...
Read more“Assistant store manager” Sean is the rudest “manager” I have ever encountered. I understand they have an employee checking the receipts as you leave, but if you have your hands full with a toddler along with your purchased items (and you’re unable to take their carts outside the store) - why would the employee request us to OPEN all of our bags and pretend to check what is inside when you physically watched us check out. Doing this caused the employee to drop my bag on the floor which caused my Easter item to break. Sean very rudely told me that I would need to wait in their very long line so that I could get a refund on the broken item, when it was his employee’s fault. The employee took no responsibility and literally left the broken pieces on the floor for people to step on. They obviously had no regard for anybody’s safety.
Sean then told me that I didn’t have to stop and show my receipt, even though it’s store policy??? So I’m trying to be a good customer and follow the store policy, but you’re telling me I don’t need to follow the policy next time to avoid having my items broken!? I get that this is Ross and you shouldn’t expect much but I expect for a store to hire decent managers. Have some...
