VIPuppy Spa — Attraction in Summit

I can’t say enough great things about VIP Puppy spa. I have been brining my puppy, now grown dog for over a year for day care, boarding and grooming. Rudy is incredibly happy here, and loves the attentive and loving staff. Gabriel and Claudia the owners are true dog lovers and saved me from giving up an energetic puppy! They know your dog, who their best friends are and their preferences. They are honest and informative, and disclose to you what happened, which I think you don’t get at other places. The outdoor space provides a great place for the dogs to get out their energy, and the staff works to engage the dogs in play. It is also very considerate of them to give them rest time and is attentive to each dog’s personality and preference. You should at least try the trial day, and see how satisfied your dog is at the end of the day.

The groomer also does an amazing job. Rudy’s coat is super shiny, well brushed and his nails and teeth are perfectly polished. They also provide a stylish bandana after each grooming service, and also keeps them separate from other dogs before your pick up. I tried several other groomers and think this place really knows how to groom a dog.

I secretly think my dog prefers to be here than alone at home. He waits at the door every morning, hoping to come to “school”/ VIP Puppy spa to play with his friends. It is well worth the money to bring your dog here for day care and for grooming. Don’t go anywhere else! It is a dog oasis, and worth me driving in from Berkeley Heights to bring him here! My dog loves VIPuppy Spa. He's been coming here since he was a puppy and he'll be 2 this year and each time he arrives he is so excited and is greeted with love from each person at the facility. I'd also like to add that this one-star review of VIPuppy Spa is the furthest thing from the truth, as I am the other dog parent to whom this review below refers. My dog and I were entering the facility waiting area at the time, and her dog, who was without a leash or a collar, slipped through the cracks of the door. This woman and her partner blamed me, and her partner spoke to me in a racist and disrespectful manner, taking no accountability for having her dog without a leash. As a dog owner, I would never have my dog in any public space without a leash because his safety comes first and dogs can quickly run off. They began to record me and treated me and the staff of VIPuppy Spa horribly. VIPuppy values the safety of all dogs, and this dog owner did not have a leash or a collar on her dog when she arrived at the facility. The main door of the facility opens and closes all day with dogs entering and exiting the facility, and as dog owners, it is our responsibility to keep them safe as we are handing off our dogs to the daycare. It is a shame that this woman would write something like this to tarnish the business when, if she is honest, she would admit that she was, in fact, at fault. I cannot even describe the professionalism and compassion the entire team has towards my Picasso. We recently went away for 5 days and boarded him at VIPuppy. It was the July 4th weekend and just the thought of not being around my baby to keep him calmed because of the fireworks was giving me anxiety. I contacted VIPuppy and they assured me he would be taken care of with extra love and reassurance. Picasso spent 5 nights there and the phone calls, videos, pictures and pampering was amazing. The all really took their time to communicate with me on a daily basis, they made me feel at ease, they even went above and beyond to get Picasso to finish his meals, the bought cheese and added it to his food, they hand fed him, played with him and really took care of him. The day we picked him up, he was nicely groomed and we were the happiest parents to see our boy so happy and handsome. Picasso will be 2 years old on 7/17/2021 and he has been attending daycare since he was 16 weeks old. I must admit, I am always skeptical about leaving our boy with anyone, but VIPuppy has exceeded our expectations. If you have not tried them, please do so!...to Claudia and the entire staff at VIPuppy, we want to sincerely say "thank you" and "we love you" (specially Picassso). You deserve a...
