It’s a pretty nice park. Very tree heavy which I like because the summers are worse when there is no tree coverage or shade. It’s a relatively nice park to take your dog. Just make sure that you have doggy bags on hand cause I did not see any doggy bag stations. There were a lot of garbage cans and picnic areas. The only I guess downside would be a section of the park is closed off so you can’t make a full loop around the park. The park was open and I went around 7 AM which I liked because it gets too hot and I don’t want my dogs feet to burn from the sun and heat.
Once that area is not blocked off and doggy bags, hopefully can be added. I think this will be a five star location. I will definitely come back again because I like to take my dog to different parks so that she’s not only going to the same park all the time so I will add this to my rotation.
I didn’t think to take pictures. The only videos that I have is of my dog playing...

Despite being surrounded by the neighborhood and being able to hear traffic sounds, the park is very picturesque and tranquil. Very easy to get to, especially if you're a local. Lots of native plants and trees, and in the spring it is absolutely covered in flowers. Because it's small and in the middle of town, it's safer than the Riverwalk park because it's less secluded. There are also brand new police call boxes in case of an emergency. There are usually a fair amount of people there, but not so many that you bump into each other. I've only knocked off a star because THE ONLY WATER FOUNTAIN IS STILL BROKEN PLEASE...
Read moreLovely little park with lots of shade! Dog friendly, but your pet must be on-leash at all times. Everyone there today was following all rules and there was a steady flow of guests coming and going.
I wanted to mention that the playground area has a covered picnic spot right in front of it for caregivers to sit in the shade and still be able to watch children play.
The paved walking trail is stroller and wheelchair friendly. There's no restroom or other amenities, which would make this place far more family friendly. Overall, it's a great little picnic spot, but not super quiet due to the...
