I want to start out by saying that I've been a huge fan of Sub Station for 25 years and I've eaten at most locations over the years. In the past this location has been good. My visit there on Feb 2nd was not pleasant though. I came in with my sister and brother for a late lunch; we approached the register and a lady with light pink hair greeted us. I started telling her my order when a male coworker came to the front talking on the phone and asked what she wanted to order from a Chinese restaurant. She cut me off and started telling telling him her order for Chinese food. He said he couldn't remember all that and she needed to give them the order directly. She pointed at us indicating that she was with a customer and couldn't talk on the phone and then repeated her entire order again. We were just standing there watching this in shock that they were ignoring customers to place their own food order. She finally finished talking about Chinese food and returned to taking our order. After we placed our order she walked away and no one came up to make our sandwiches. After a few minutes the gentleman who was talking on then phone earlier walked up and put some buns in the toaster. None of us had asked for our bread to be toasted, and I've never had my bread toasted at a Sub Station II. He made our sandwiches and we went to sit down and eat. I had ordered my sandwich with no cheese and he had put cheese on it anyway, and the toasted bread ruined the texture. I'm not surprised that our order was made wrong because both employees were so distracted by ordering food for themselves that they clearly weren't paying attention to the customers. I own a sandwich shop on the west coast and if my employees ever acted this way I would fire them. Overall it was a bad experience in regards to customer service and food. I hope the owner will address this issue with the employees and prevent future customers from being...
Read moreThe person who took my order also took part in making our meal. She did ok with sandwich One but as i was looking i saw a meat on my sandwich that i can't eat. I told heri did not order that sandwich she then wanted to argue about it and then the order attendant started arguing about it too and she didn't even know what i ordered. She grumbled about having to take off the meat i can't eat. I asked for the price difference but they wouldn't give me any Money back. Both of them continued to make ugly comments. As we sat down they turned on Music that was obsean and very inappropriate for any Restaurant. It was Gangster rap that had nothing but obsean language and content about Abuse .The Woman turned it up very loud. We were the only Coustomers in the place At the time .So it was ovishly clear they were trying to offend us. We are American Indians and Felt very Offended. Also saw her nails were too long for the Gloves that was supposed to protect our Food. She might as well have been making the food without gloves .We prayed over our mesls before eating them. And I know The Good Lord Blessed it , thus safe for eating. If you don't understand about asking God to Bless your Food thats perfectly alright. Im not pushing our beliefs on anyone. This is not about that , its about the Rudeness and unprofessional way we were treated. $30.00 may not be alot to some but Once a month we treat ourselves to a Restaurant meal for My husband is on Disability and I draw a very tiny Check too( under $400.00) a month. We barely make it to the end of the Month. And to have this Treat ruined is unacceptable. This Establishment has gone way down hill since the owner passed away. We...
Read moreMy boss ordered subs for the whole office yesterday through Uber Eats. When our food arrived we were missing some cookies and 2 of our reuben sandwiches were cold with just meat and cheese.. On the Uber Eats app you don't have the option of selecting sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. So the only real option to select is plain, you would think and just hope they make a regular reuben. No big deal, but once we got our order and realized it wrong and missing some things we called to get it corrected and whoever picked up started yelling back at my boss basically saying they made the order correct. Almost like he already knew it was going to be an issue before we even called. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! They went back and forth for 10 minutes arguing, all we were trying to do is explain the issue when trying to order uber eats and what a reuben sandwich actually consists of but the guy didn't want to hear it. HOW CAN YOU ACTUALLY WORK AT SUB SHOP AND NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A REUBEN?? In all, the guy couldn't admit he was in the wrong--the customer is always right, even when we are not.. They did not correct the issue, the guy ended up hanging up on us. You've lost 6 customer's for life and the Cayce location should be shut down due to not knowing how to make a reuben and having terrible...
