The park is a great little city park next to the river. It is perfectly tucked away in a quiet community. Next to it is the always beautiful Riverwalk. I suggest taking a leisurely stroll along the river and finish it off by letting the kids run around the park. The park is a little crowded with limited parking most of the time. Though not crowded, the kids can still run around and play. My only complaint is at times it can be a little dirty due to lack of respect from some patrons. Our daughter has dubbed it the "Blue Park". Great stop for about 30 minutes to a hour of play. Not as big as Saluda Shoals but comes with a a slightly better walk along downtown Columbia's...

Was told my child was not safe playing in her own neighborhood park because of sex trafficking. West Columbia police got my child to call me because she rides her scooter here sometimes to play, as we live less than a block away. I feel comfortable with my neighbors & community. I’ve thrown birthday parties here- bring out chalk & bubbles, piñatas for whoever is playing because my daughter is an only child and LOVES making friends and we love our neighborhood. We go kayaking & play in the river & ride scooters & bikes on the trails FOR YEARS. VERY...

PROS: Great, new park with tons of fun stuff to play on and explore! Currently clean facilities and ground. Spacious and right across from the Riverwalk too. Swings, slides, and more!

CONS: You better hope the sun doesn't come out or else you'll be burning faster than a cracked egg in hell. They have virtual 0 shade in the actual play areas, so if you smell bacon cooking then it's probably your skin. (Best to come on cloudy/overcast days or early...

This is a beautiful park . It has the rubberized floor for safety, so less chance of scraping and cuts . The park is fenced in so the kids cant run out except for the entrance. It is also located in a good upscale neighborhood so little to zero chance of crime and hooligans walking around . I would go as far as saying it's the best park in Columbia area! Check it out if possible.

Awesome park! Shaded area to sit for the adults and when the kids get too hot. It’s fenced in so the only way out for the children is the way you came in…. Which is where the shaded seating is. There are swings for handicapped or small children. Padded ground instead of wood chips or rubber. Large playground and a smaller playground both included.
