Went to Ace Hardware to have a key cut. I tried the new key cutting kiosk in Kmart to have a key made. I don't suggest using that. It's a ripoff!!! They wanted to charge me $86.00 to cut a 1993 Jeep key (without a chip) once I declined they lowered the price to $66.00. I still declined and went a mile and a half down street to Ace Hardware and had it cut for $4.91. That's more like it. I hope people don't use that key cutting machine because it's outrageous and ridiculously over priced!! Should be outlawed charging that big of a difference. I don't look for that machine to stay in stores or in business. I know I won't ever be fooled into paying their prices. Shame on whoever owns/operates them. It's a shopping center. Sometimes I go there. Finally got repaved. All three entrances near Bi-Lo desperately need to be widened. They are dangerous - especially with all the new USC traffic and the addition of Planet Fitness. The Bi-Lo sign could be moved and/or changed. It is more of a distraction than a help.
