Suwanee Clayworks — Attraction in Suwanee

I absolutely love Suwanee Clayworks! I found this place online in July 2024 and signed up for a class because the pottery studio I had been going to didn’t have any summer classes. I have been learning pottery elsewhere for eight years, before I came to Suwanee Clayworks so I already had some experience. The moment I walked into this place, I knew that I would never leave. It was clean, bright, inviting, inspiring, organized, and everyone was so friendly! I am writing this review after being at this place for only 6 months. This place has become a second home to me. I have learned so much, made some awesome things, and made so many amazing friends here. I love their classes and seasonal workshops. I really like that you get a shelf to store your clay and belongings, a bag of clay and open studio included in the price of the classes. They have an incredible amount of tools of every type. Marissa, the main instructor is absolutely amazing! She is so enthusiastic, influential, cheerful, and good witted. There are assistants that work weekly keeping the studio clean and organized and to help if anyone needs it. Overall, Suwanee Clayworks is an awesome place that all artists and potters...

Amazing brand new studio. Have taken 3 classes here already. Great for all levels. Marissa is super knowledgeable. I started without experience and have learned soooo much. Super friendly and helpful. It is the perfect place to spend all my free time. So relaxing and fun. Great variety of clay and glazes. Most studios require you to bring your own supplies, but they have TONS available for you to use. They also offer open studio every day, which is a HUGE perk. No other studio does this. It’s truly an incredible place.

Also - was in the same class as reviewer O and she quit half way through the first class. She didn’t want to get dirty and didn’t even clean up. Just got up and booked it out of the studio without saying anything. Our instructor kept going around helping each person. She was super kind and helpful. Before coming in, I called to try getting in same day to do something last minute with my 8 year old and husband. Incredible customer service started from the first call. I spoke to Marissa who is an assistant and she made space for us to paint several pieces even though they weren’t technically open besides for a class. They accommodated us even though it was last minute and I could never tell they were in a hurry to get us in and out. Marissa was so helpful throughout the entire process. She helped us pick colors and and every time we needed more of anything she would gladly stop her own project to assist us without interfering our family time giving us the opportunity to really work on our own.
