I told him I have connections, if he wants to go to Georgia Tech. I didn't go to Georgia Tech. I did go to one of the Universities in Georgia. There are couple if them. Best one, I think it's Emory.
Umm... University of Georgia is a really good school but their football team lost to Alabama. They're behind in terms of football called America's football. They hold the ball but it's called football.

Read moreThis was my first time visiting Hansel & Gretel Bakery in Suwanee, and the experience was quite enjoyable despite a few initial challenges. Finding parking proved to be a bit difficult, as the lot near the bakery was full. I ended up walking behind the building, but the short walk turned out to be peaceful and quiet, offering a moment to take in the serene surroundings before stepping into the bakery. Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of this location. Itâs almost double the size of their branch in Assi Plaza, which immediately sets a different tone. The openness of the space gives it a much more relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. Unlike some of the busier, more crowded bakeries where itâs difficult to have a conversation without being distracted by noise or feeling rushed, the Suwanee location felt more conducive to a laid-back, comfortable experience. There was ample room to sit and enjoy your pastries or coffee, making it a perfect spot not just for a quick grab-and-go snack, but also for longer visits with friends or family.
The larger layout also allowed for a better display of their bakery items, with everything neatly arranged and easy to browse without feeling cramped. As I walked through the store, I noticed several groups of people sitting and talking, each enjoying the welcoming ambiance that the extra space provides. Itâs the kind of bakery where you could easily settle in for a casual afternoon chat or a quiet moment of relaxation.
Overall, the Suwanee location of Hansel & Gretel Bakery offers an inviting environment that complements its delicious selection of baked goods. The spaciousness, in particular, sets it apart from other, more congested bakery locations, making it a hidden gem for those looking for a quieter, more comfortable space to enjoy their food and company. I look forward to returning, knowing that I can find not only quality pastries but also a peaceful atmosphere that enhances the...
Read moreWe have been waiting to try the newly opened Hansel & Gretel Bakery Cafe. Today, we went there for a late afternoon coffee. The new location is on Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Suwanee. It is quite clean, has an open floor plan with lots of seating. Very inviting. I was looking for a savory pastry, rather than sweet. The options were limited, but it was almost 5 pm, so I understood that they may be picked over. I selected a pizza roll. Looking at it, I thought it probably was filled with cheese and herbs. There was no other labeling on it. I selected this and hubby picked out a sweet roll. We both chose 12 oz Cafe Mochas (hot). The mocha's were perfect. They allow you to select or modify the sweetness of your mocha, we selected the least sweet. This is a great option, as you are able to get a better taste of the coffee
The first bite of my pizza roll was yummy, a bit of herbs and garlic flavor. The second bite revealed that there was a hot dog running through the roll. This was a surprise, and I don't eat pork, so I was concerned. I went to the counter to ask if the hot dog was beef. The young man at the counter didn't know so he went to ask the owner/manager. They indicated that it was a pork/beef combination hotdog. I will give a great shoutout to the owner/manager, because while I didn't ask for money back or anything (it was my fault for not asking to start with), she noticed that I didn't eat anymore of the roll and was preparing to throw it away. She sent the young man over to tell me to please select any other roll to replace it. I explained my situation and suggested that if it's not apparent that there is meat in the roll, perhaps they could write on the label. I felt it was a good start to their business. I plan to give them another try in the future, but will definitely look...
