Went here over a month ago to touch up my blond highlights, I had less than 3 inches of regrowth and paid over $200 for it - I know I have a bit more dense hair than the average person, I’m not sure how it was calculated for that price. Like I selected something along the lines of partial full hair highlights and I figured that quote online would cover my roots, it would be nice to have more of a visual to understand how the pricing works. I knew it was expensive, but I was in a time crunch and the location was too convenient. After talking to my friends who frequent salons, they mentioned I did pay more than they’ve experienced. I mentioned to the stylist that there was an area of my hair that had no color because my previous stylist totally missed that area and I thought she would take care of it but I didn’t find out until recently that it still looks like that. Not sure if it’s because I brush my hair differently?
I messaged the stylist’s business instagram, Mary Lana, but it’s been 4 days with no response. Honestly, I wasn’t a big fan of the whole experience — it was my first time coming and I don’t think the stylist even asked me what my name was and didn’t try to get to know me. She mentioned she gets quiet when she works, which I understand but like… it’s my first time coming here, don’t you want to try to make me feel welcomed? I never care if my stylist talks to me a lot or not, but I just felt like the vibe was a bit off.
After she finished, it was darker than the ashy blond I wanted, but I figured after a few washes it’d look better. I knew the stylist needed to leave after my appointment, so I didn’t want her to be late. Also wasn’t the biggest fan of the haircut since I still have dead ends (noticed this a few days later when I washed my hair) and I thought the color would look more seamless with what I already had.
I really hate confrontation, so I held this in for a while and I’m not sure if I want to go through the trouble of contacting the salon. Just wanted to share...

Someone from the salon called me about 5 minutes after I posted my review. She provided some clarity on the situation and offered a full refund. I declined at first because as I said, I chose the establishment and would have paid anyway but after her insisting to take care it as nicely as she could, I took her up on her offer. Thank you!
I know salons aren't normally for kids but my son has got very weird texture, thickness, and growth. It has been impossible to find someone to cut his hair nicely so I tried this place for convenience. His stylist, I think her name is Hannah was great with my son. Extremely engaging with him. My son hates haircuts but really enjoyed the conversation with her. So all the stars go to her. I feel like she went the extra mile in terms of customer service. The front desk girl was also very sweet.
Hair salons normally always have a catty feeling about them. This place was no different. I was actually so disappointed because the receptionist was awesome and the stylist was awesome. But there were other stylists talking as if I wasn't standing right there. I heard Hannah tell the receptionist to charge me $15 because she didn't have to do much and it was a kid's haircut. My son is 7. When the receptionist couldn't get the system to work, she asked another stylist to help. She didn't. She said just charge her for the women's cut... $40. I would have paid whatever amount they charged because I chose the establishment but that seemed...
Read moreI went to the Suwanee location on a recommendation since my stylist at another salon was not working due to Covid-19. I met with CHRISTINE and let me tell you, this was an extraordinary experience. Due to the virus, the salon is taking painstaking measures to ensure client-employee safety. After I made my appointment, the instructions were made to me as to what to expect from the receptionist. I texted them when I arrived and was told to leave my car running with AC on, then I was texted to meet with Christine before entering to take my temperature (with a laser gun) and take a short questionnaire regarding symptoms and exposure. That's all I'm going to bore you with because once inside, their efforts continued. Everyone masked, smocks changed, brushes washed, sanitizer everywhere.... Christine was absolutely as gracious, sweet and professional as she could be. She went over the photo I brought as well as my hair to make sure we were on the same page and really took her time to make sure she got it right. The products used were great. She didn't rush and checked her work to make sure I was happy with my cut. The rest of the staff was very accommodating as well. It's a very well maintained, well staffed and well managed salon and I believe I will be back even though it's a 40 minute drive for me. Plus, the prices are very low, surprisingly. I highly recommend this salon....
