Shut it down! Tear it down! CCS came into our neighborhood and have poorly managed the new safe parking site which has brought a bunch of drug addicts to the area. Have been negligent in their management of the holy rosary site. Illegal encampments growing on the neglected site. People destroying the holy rosary property. They are not providing a safe environment for the neighborhood. Allowing cars to queue up in the streets to get into the site, so they are dumping trash all over the neighborhood. A million tax payer dollars are going to you guys and look at the mess you've created. Site manager is ignoring our complaints and trash on the grounds, illegal encampments on the property, and security not present on site as promised to the Neighbors. Over 40 encampments across the street full of drug addicts. Frequent visits from fire, police and medical providers related to overdoses, crime… including homicide. Increased break-ins and burglary to local residents. Tell city council to Shut down...

All we local Catholics are supporting the restoration of Holy Rosary once again as a church, we are happy to have learned that on May 1st the Vatican has approved a legal recourse against the closing of this church. We are very unhappy with the closure pursued by the Archdiocese of Seattle, they have disregarded the will of the Catholic community; they talk about being on the side of "synodality" and "participation" but this does not seem to apply to Holy Rosary and the community. The closure of the church has brought crime, drugs and other ills to this neighborhood. It has been informed that the city of Tacoma is paying $1M/year to CCS to manage the church's site for homeless individuals parking and sleeping in their cars; with that kind of money, it seems to me they can pay for...

This is an icon piece of classic architecture. I’m not Catholic but I adore this church. I’ve taken many photos of it. You can even find it peaking above the skyline of photos I’ve taken from over a mile away. I just heard about the Vatican ruling and I’m so happy for you all that worked so hard to save this church. The place has been boarded up for what I understand to be years but during that time the property has continued to serve the homeless community and that’s way more than I’ve seen from a lot of active churches.
