One of the better state capitols - tbh this is primarily because of Brandon 💯🔥✨
Heads up if you're going for the Florida stamp - go to the tall current senate and house chambers. The historical capitol is mostly a museum, restored ok (not sure how they "lost" and "rediscovered" a rotunda ?!?!?). Most exciting part was "recall 2000" where they had the actual butterfly ballot voter from the county on display.
The active Florida capitol (tall sky scraper) has a 360 view from the 22nd floor, and the 5th floor is a great way to view the house and Senate chambers. Luckily we went on a day Brandon, one of the writers, and he gave us an AMAZING in depth tour of the chamber (he's a pro and has given this tour to many kiddos). He is so passionate about what he does and his work and it definitely shown through - one of the best tour guides of a state capitol ever!! THANK YOU BRANDON FOR ALL YOU DO FOR...

But it is cool that you can be in the thick of it all. The governor's office is right on the bottom floor, and there are offices and meeting halls all around.
If you're here and have time, go down the street to the FL History Museum, it will be...

The receptionist across the counter is very friendly and she explained about the building in brief and asked us to revert back if any assistance is needed. A small floor map also made available to the tourists near the reception. An introductory video of 8 minutes duration was played on a big TV. The Senate house, Members house and Supreme court are portrayed for visitors. Selfie spot was provided.
Free entry for all. No ticket. For parking, need to use the public parking provided in 5 levels. The parking fee is $1 for the...
