We took our dog there while in the area. Not impressed. No shade and for whatever reason they chose the rocky flooring, it holds on to the urine odor of what is likely hundreds of dogs over time. Well, you can imagine the lovely aroma.🤢 Our dog enjoyed the play structures, that is a nice touch. We spoke with another dog owner while there and she also mentioned the lack of shade and how she only brings her dog when it's very cloudy out or at the beginning or end of the day. The water fountains and faucets are not users friendly, simply rather difficult to use and quite often not working properly. Also the City of Tarpon Springs used to spray the park with weed killer Round up. This fact was brought up to the city officials attention a few months ago but its not clear if they resolved this issue. According to my knowledge public was not notified.
