The only reason I did not give a 1-star rating, is because the manager was gracious enough to give us a refund for the performance of "Marriage of Figaro" that we attended on March 25, 2018. The venue was quite satisfactory, and the actors/vocalists were (I'm sure) quite good. However, we could not hear their singing for the distractedly loud piano playing of Mozart's composition by the pianist/orator. We spoke to several people in the crowd (who also left during intermission), and learned that audiences in many past performances have complained about this very same pianist ruining the play. It's obvious this artist wants to steal the show...at the expense of the whole production! I will never return to future venues, knowing he will be a part of the...
Read moreHonestly, a completely ageism venue. Not worth going to if you’re under 65 years old. People are frankly mean and disrespectful to anyone under retirement age. Please do not support the Tarpon Springs. Completely not worth it! Spend your money else where there are much better places with better acts and shows in the Tampa Bay Area.
Not worth going. Worst venue that I’ve been in for just politeness and respect of an much more senior staff. Very rude.
The shows have been some good and some bad.

The venue and staff will unfortunately make you feel very unwelcome if you’re under retirement age almost...
Read moreNice and clean theater. Seats are well padded and comfortable, but do not rock. Seats are not wide. The heavy set lady next to me seemed squeezed on both sides in her seat. The seat arms are skinny and wooden. Theater acoustics are great. The stage is raised four feet and is huge, about the same size as the seating area. In front of the stage is a bit of an orchestra area, not sunken. Floor is carpeted, so no food is allowed and only water is allowed to drink. No food or drinks are sold. I saw some films there and the screen was big, but it was at the back of the stage which seemed...
