All of the cost-savings labor reduction, without the automation! I've been going to this store since it opened. As of the past year, they've begun cutting their overhead substantially, without any real investments in automation. For instance, the front end of the store still only has 4 self-assist units, but they've only staffed 2 to 4 employees to run the registers and monitor the self-assist stations. What does this mean? Excessively long lines and no real meaningful space to queue up. You're virtually backing into the women's clothing and accessories departments. Need help finding something while in the aisles? Good luck finding a human who can help you. On average there's about 4 to 5 employees actively stocking shelves or performing return's put-away in the entirety of the store at any given time.Whoever is championing the overhead savings their store has (likely the store/regional management team) clearly doesn't see how this is effecting their bottom-line, SALES. If you're going to start "cutting" from your overhead, make sure you have the automation implements (online stock availability and on-site location guidance - Home Depot, price check stations, line management - ropes and pillars, online ordering and curbside pick-up, automated stock monitoring systems, etc.). Their costs are higher than their direct competition (WalMart), they're already doing these things, and better. Do yourself a favor and driver a litter further up the road to WalMart, you'll get in and out faster, and you'll pay less. Updated as of 2023: EVEN WORSE!!!

I love Target you can most likely find whatever you may be looking for. But today I decided to purchase something for my granddaughter who is feeling not so hot and of course she wanted her present right away but I didn’t want to bring her in to the store so I try the drive up which an employee runs you purchase out to you. Unbelievable service no wait time and we received our bags under 5 minutes of parking in our spot, the employee was very friendly and polite definitely made my granddaughter happy getting her present I will definitely use this service again. I would recommend trying it out

It is in a good location. Decent product. Not so much for men's clothing, though. The grocery section is good and the pharmacy has switched over to CVS. Self checkout is key.

I live just up the street from here, and shop here almost daily, due to my schedule, mostly during evening hours. The staff I deal with regularly, are without a doubt some of the nicest, most helpful people I've ever met in retail! However, I made the mistake of going there during the day a couple times recently, and I have to say, it's like night and day! The people they have working up front, at self check during the day are rude, and have no customer service skills whatsoever! I spent 25mins. Just trying to get the register at self check out to take my 5 dollar bill, I asked several different staff members if they could help me, or exchange my 5 for a newer bill or 5 ones, but they claimed their register was locked, another one said , I would have to void out my whole thing and try a different register, so I did, and another 15mins later had the same result. And still, was on my own to figure it out .. my total was around $40, everything was paid except $4.45 , it just refused to take my 5 bucks, eventually I got so frustrated, I just slammed the 5 down on the register and got out of there.. I made a note, to only shop there at night when the 2 super nice ladies, who work around self check out are on duty, they really are awesome! They know me by name, and they spoil my little dog (who goes everywhere with me) they carry treats with them, and he always looks for them. I think their names are Pam and Deb, or Donna, I'm terrible with names, but the main ladies that work up front around self checkout. Anyway I just can't say enough about them! There's even been a couple times over this last year that I went over my cc limit, by a couple bucks, embarrassing as it was, instead of having to put something back, Pam just whips out a couple of ones and a minute later, I was on my way!! Where are u gonna find good, genuine, people who will help a customer, they don't even know personally?? They make me feel welcome, and for that, I'll continue to shop there regularly! But only at night, you couldn't pay me to shop there...

Target used to be my favorite store, but it has gone down hill so much that I don't go nearly as often anymore. The store is a mess!! Isles are covered with clothes, trash...employees are texting and chatting with each other, the men's department, on my last trip the other day, had more clothes on the floor than on the racks. Now on same day, this young (24 yr old) security came over to help me on the self-serve register as a shirt was not ringing up on sale. I HATE going to self-serve and never do, but there was 2 registers open and the lines were down the store. I bought 2 exact same shirts...one rang in on sale the other didn't. This security 'person' came over when I asked but told me it probably wasn't on sale b/c of the color. I told her I would take her over and show her that they are all on the same rack. She then said "It's only $3.00...jeez" Imagine that? It's only $3 was her response. Then she yelled out where I worked, said it was so rude of me to be rude to her, a 24 yr old girl. I was so shocked!! I asked for the manager who apologized for her behavior and told her to go upstairs. She argued with him but eventually left. I did call Target corporate but no one cares. It's quite obvious as the store is an...
