Tehachapi Heritage League Museum — Attraction in Tehachapi

Wonderful little museum full of local history which is fascinating. Barbara and Beverly were wonderful hosts while we were there and were more than happy to answer questions or just chat. They are very obviously lovers of Tehachapi so they're great at their jobs. If you're intrigued by local small town history like me, I highly recommend a visit. Also leave time to visit the Errea House across the street as well as the train depot a couple blocks away. I only went to learn about the local Indians, and it's very informative, including displays and a very long movie with someone walking around showing various significant Native sites, plants, pictograms, etc. The most informative place around I know of besides the AV Indian Museum.
