Thai Hachapi — Restaurant in Tehachapi

Not worth it, it was VERY slow we were waiting for a tiny soup for 1 hour the moment we were about to pay just for the drinks and leave they started giving all of the food we ordered to our table rushed, basically it was sitting there for an hour for some reason, so they will leave your food to be sitting and you have to wait till they feel like it to give you the food, we were waiting for napkins like 10 minutes never got our napkins so I went to the bathroom and took paper for us, we never got forks either and we had to ask for refill a couple times without them doing it by heart, the waitress slam the cup of water all mad with attitude and we also had to ask for condiments that were in all tables except ours, very rude EXTREMELY slow the food was good but with the attitude and the service I won't doubt they put boogers or luggie in the food, hopefully no one gets food...

Dined there today for the first time. Upon entering, it did not feel cozy or welcoming. It appeared very clean and cared for well. Staff was welcoming and provided me with a menu and drink pretty quickly. I ordered and within minutes i had my appetizer, the potstickers. They came with a sauce that was a little thicker than i was expecting, but the taste was all around great. About 5 minutes later my entree was served to me. I had the Pad Thai (chicken). It tasted delicious. I never had to ask or wave down someone for a refill on my drink as the staff was attentive and polite. Pricing was appropriate and i left satisfied and would definitely return. Overall i say give this place a chance. I did eat on a Sunday on an off hour, so it wasnt all that busy. There were perhaps 4 other tables occupied, but if the service is comparable at busy times, then this...

A delicious little Thai place with very inexpensive dishes. I actually thought the dinner menu was the lunch menu because of the low prices. I got their Musmun curry with tofu, which was only $10.99 and was served with white rice. Most restaurants spell the dish "Massaman"; the ingredients were identical (onions, carrots, potatoes, peanuts, peanut sauce, and your choice of protein).

I got the dish mild and it was still very flavorful. I asked if they did "mild plus", but they so not do half heat levels. They have four spice levels (mild, medium, hot, and extra hot). They also have a spice caddy they can bring you upon request.
