Perfetto Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Tehachapi

😋Vibe is so important! Perfetto’s Italian Bistro above all had true hospitality, kindness and the welcoming spirit. The chef actually came to my table we spoke for a moment about the fresh homemade pasta and the dash of clam she adds to one of her dishes for that truly unique flavor. The lentil noodle soup you’ll see in the photo attached was a sensory delight. Seriously considered ordering another bowl being that I may never travel by this way again. The Pasta Primavera entrée was well worth pushing through the gluttony of going for two bowls of soup. Homemade pasta, garden grown veggies sautéed and I light wine sauce had me stuffed to the gills licking the plate it was so delicious😋 Hard to believe I topped it all off with tiramisu, it’s not often you find genuine homemade Italian food crafted with love and passion. Our top pick almost every date night! It’s a MUST-try if you like pasta. All homemade from scratch. The marinara sauce is perfection, the Alfredo is probably the creamiest & richest you’ll ever get. Soups are usually something unique and super Flavorful, from scratch not your basic restaurant soup. Meatballs were also homemade and had a unique yummy type of seasoning. Our other favorites are chicken Marsala, the “pasta Perfetto” but it’s hard for me to not order something with marinara. ;) the chicken scallopini (picatta?) was a little heavy on the capers for my liking because as we’ve established they never skimp on flavor (I just don’t love capers). But really the only downside of this restaurant is that you might find yourself disappointed at OTHER Italian restaurants from now on! ;)...

I had veggie lasagna. Too much cheese with mushy veggies. Couldn’t taste the noodles. My husband had lamb stew with mushrooms and the lamb was tender, noodles are all hand made, and the sauce was great. He loved his. Portions were very large so we will have it 2-3 more dinners. I will cook zucchini with a small slice of the lasagna on top. Tiramisu was excellent! Great balance of cream, cake (assuming lady fingers or equivalent) and coffee flavor. Perfect.
