Harveston Lake Park — Attraction in Temecula

I've lived here for a little over a year and I feel adequately equipped to speak on this place. The trail is something like 2/3 of a mile because I always have to go a little bit further around to get a mile. It's good for bikes and running and walking but I strongly suggest bikes just go all the way around and don't use the trail because it can get crowded at times. Everyone is always happy to be there so it really adds to that atmosphere when everyone around you is having a good time. For HOA recipients and Cape May renters we have access to the recreational area. It's a $20 charge to get the fob at Cape May. I think it's included for the people who pay HOA fees. I can throw parties there and have special events. Every once in awhile the lake harveston community has special events. The pool is decently sized so you could bring laps when it's less busy. The play area for kids is about half the size of what you would want to spend a whole day but it's still good enough to keep the kiddos happy if you just want to tan or dip in the pool.

This park is great for the whole family as well as your pets. It has a beautiful made man lake with a fountain. There are ducks. I love ducks. The area is clean and really relaxing.

You can walk all around the lake and it is great if you have your pup with you. There is a play area for kids which is super clean and never crowded. The people are nice and there is a wee store for candy.

When the weather is nice it is just just a calming place to be. There is a lot of grass and you can picnic there or just sit and watch the ducks.

There is also a basket ball court I am told, but I did not see it. There is also a base ball area. The restrooms are great. They are clean.

There are also plenty of benches and I love that.

You will like this if you have a few hours to get away...

Hidden gem of Temecula. This fantastic lakeside park is open to the public and offers a wonderful place to walk and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is a nice walking trail around the lake to enjoy with your dog, children, friends, family or maybe just walking solo. You can rent a boat from the boat rental dock during season or just sit back on the grass and enjoy the view. There is a playground area for kids with restrooms and restrooms by the boat dock as well. Easy access from 2 entrances and parking...
