H-E-B — Attraction in Temple

This generally was my HEB store but after yesterday I'll be making my shopping visits elsewhere. Was doing some seasonal cleaning at my storage unit and had a friend stop by and get a few items that they wanted since I was getting rid of them,after they had left I continued cleaning roughly 2 hours had passed I went to get my water out of my car and then realized I left my keys in her trunk when putting the box down in her trunk..I called them & They said they would be back over in about 2 hours. I went over to this heb and bought something to drink and sat on the bench outside for a few minutes then back over to storage unit decided that I'll go sit back on the bench and wait on the bench for my keys ,that's when OL' Mr Happy Security guard came up to me and just said what did you buy inside? I said a drink ! His response was What drink ?it's gone.. He didn't have anything to say to other than well its gone and you need to be too, I started to tell him what happened and he was extremely rude and could care less. If he had come over and been like is everything alright ? Or addressed it in a different manner, but his attitude and lack of compassion really did not sit well with me and thought HEB would of done a better job with how he addresses people or starts a conversation. I thought the whole matter was handled in poor taste and thought matters could of been handled differently.. Good bye HEB...

5 stars for Annalisa in Curbside but 1 star for this store. I will never shop here again. Do not order curbside here. I was told they are allowed to give the same day expired meat and they did. I was told that although I ordered yellow bananas they are allowed to give green and they did. Green banana pudding for a paying customer is bad business for me. I was made to pay almost $13 for grapes that someone obviously took a handful or two before I received them. Three items are missing. Over 5 items are almost expired. They give you the worst or oldest items when shopped by their employees. I had issues with 8 items. They gave the run around about a refund. I offered to bring back ALL the items even the ones that were ok. A few dollars short of $300 spent in groceries here and half were not worth it. They told me not to return the items and it’s been 5 days now without any refund. It never takes my bank this long. It only takes 1 day for this particular card. This location should be closed permanently. I will never shop here again. I don’t mind spending the extra gas to go somewhere else. The 31st street location is always overcrowded but at least the experience is 90% better than this store. Walmart is better than this store and I’m not a fan of Walmart. HEB on 31st will be getting my business from now on, although I live a little over 1 mile from the...

This is my go-to place for groceries and other items. I usually can park close to the door and get in and out in about 20 minutes. HEB has quality produce with more and more organic produce. Their proteins are high quality. They also have weekly specials on Wednesdays where you can buy items that go together - meal combinations. Some of the items are free when you buy the main items: for example when you buy a brisket, you get BBQ sauce, potato salad, and some other side or item for free. These specials change every week, and are seasonal.

The employees are very kind and they are knowledgeable. They will bag your groceries for you at no extra charge. You can also get assistance carrying out to your vehicle. They have a full service customer service counter where we can pay bills, wire funds, and also purchase discount tickets at Six Flags, Seaworld, and other attractions. You can purchase gift cards (also at the registers) to pay for gas at the gas pumps as well.

A small amount of seasonal items are also for sale out front of the store. Spring: plants, pots, mulch, and gardening tools. In Summer: grills, grill tools and summer furniture is also outside. In autumn you will find pumpkins, as well as fall plants for sale out front. In winter, you can also find small amounts of firewood...
