Whataburger — Restaurant in Temple

I've been here numerous times over the years and the old building was kind of a dump. Not sorry to see it replaced. The new shop is very nice and clean. Food is good; standard Whataburger. What makes the difference, generally, in this industry is the people. This morning I stopped as I used to before the old shop was torn down. This was my first time at the new store, and the food was, again, good standard Whataburger. What was different this time was the attention to detail of Kaylah, who was working the window. The cup for my order had soda running down the side. Nothing out of the ordinary there; happens in every fast food restaurant. How many times have you been handed a drink with soda dripping down the side? Every time, right? But Kaylah saw that the cup was wet and wiped off the side of the cup, without being asked, on her own, because she recognized that this little thing was part of the customer experience and she wanted me to have a good experience. She took it upon herself to make sure I didn't get a sticky hand and a sticky car. If Kaylah and her boss and the site trainer maintain that level of attention to detail, they will be wonderfully successful and I will continue...

Major disappointment since the benchmark is beating Killeens establishments.

No receipt paper so they could not give me a receipt. Management problem #1 on inventory. They were fully staffed and I'm standing in the front for 18 minutes waiting for 1 apple pie that they clearly forgot because they just bumped it off. While the guy in front standing there staring just kept standing there and staring. Then when I asked about it, "Oh sorry, I have to ring you up for it." I already paid for it??? So I stand there for another 8 minutes getting really frustrated now. Nobody seemed to care about their job they just stood there. So when they realized their mistake, the solution was oh just give him an apple pie I guess and he will go away. No we are so so sorry none of that, no credit or two apple pies, nothing to make their mistake right. If I spend 14 dollars on two drinks and an apple pie, I expect the service to match the price and that just didn't happen with these guys. Nothing about the service I received was acceptable by whataburger corporate standards and that's a shame for the area...

Hands down one of the best Whataburger's I've visited. Wow, the staff! What a great bunch of hard-working and super friendly people. They were busy and in the weeds, but the customer service was phenomenal. Everyone had a big smile on their faces, and they were just a delightful, fun bunch, working hard and getting things done.

It's Whataburger, so one knows the food delivery is not exceptionally quick, but the quality of all they offer is great. They got everything about our order perfect, it was served piping hot, and the crunchy onion rings were the best. Love those rings! Our burgers were prepared to perfection and oh so tasty and juicy. I had the sweet & spicy burger combo and it was scrumptious.

The establishment is SUPER clean, and it has such a welcoming atmosphere. It makes it for such a pleasant dining experience.

If you are Jonesing for Whataburger, I highly, highly recommend a visit to this location. Great staff, super clean establishment, and delicious food. Just a spectacular...
