Oh my word... the best park EVER! Stray from your route just a wee bit and take a "breather" here, worth it! Magical! Don't pass this stop, make it a point while traveling! An answer to our prayer while driving cross country. Artsy and thoughtful! Did my Mother's heart much good, too. I became teary eyed, thanking God we happened to "stumble" upon this place while traveling; our boys being anxious from sitting too long, I panicky looked up the closest kid area, and the timing was right on when discovering this location. Very close to the train tracks at the station (but not dangerously close), all the kids would stop playing as a train pulled up just to watch.
Misters in different areas of the playground, great for keeping cool in the Texas summer. A good portion of the playground is shaded.
If you have a little extra time the train museum is right next door, good little stop off, and it's air...
