Taqueria Dos Amigos Temple Tx — Restaurant in Temple

I called in for an order for breakfast a Tampequino plate with a side of eggs the steak was definitely not good smelled badly didn't even wanna attempt to even taste it and it literally tasted like they probably cooked everything in the same oil because the eggs tasted bad as well we also ordered a chicken fried chicken plate with hash browns.. I specifically asked them for hash browns because on the menu it literally shows homemade hash browns and the time before they gave us big sliced potatoes that weren't cooked but this time they gave us hash browns that are from the freezer soaked in oil and no gravy for the chicken fried steak we had to go back and wait for them to make it which they should have already had made if it's a breakfast item on the menu ..waste of money would not recommend at all it's like they don't care in the quality of their food they should b embarrassed won't eat there again.. if you want a good Mexican restaurant I would prefer Tres Megueyes over...

The birria quesadillas are AMAZING. Taco plate is great, Shrimp cocktail, the birria Ramen, everything we've tried, so far, is delicious. I also love that there is a drive thru. That is one of the reasons I don't particularly love going to taco trucks. I gave a 4 for service only because sometimes the wait in the drive thru is a little long. (They make everything to order) so you really could just place your order ahead of time and pick up from the window if you're not wanting to wait too long. We got the mini tacos and a shredded chicken burrito. It was wonderful! Our new spot. We are already contemplating what we want the next time. I can’t even describe the flavors, the only word that comes to mind is home. Hate us or Love us, we are from California and have been chasing decent Mexican food down for over 15+ years.
