I work in Sumter landing and had been wanting to upgrade my dresser. I had went to a few other places and wasn’t finding what I wanted. I needed 9 drawers that were deeper than my previous 5 drawer dresser. I was also looking for the hardware to possible match my drafting table and computer desk. I decided to pop in at lunch and just take a look around. After awhile I found a few options and found Jody in the store to help me. Jody was really kind, helpful and patient with me while I asked questions and I showed her what my room looks like so we can see what worked best for me. She went as far as measuring the inside drawers as I was trying to compare my old one to the new one and offering to even come on her days off just so I can finalize my order. You can tell that she loves her job as it shows. I was a walk in and with the store busy I appreciate her time and her wonderful customer service skills. I ended up really loving the Jax Dark Tone Dresser. It checked all the boxes of what I wanted. I made an appointment with her the following week to have my mom come in to verify it would work and fit in my room and was able to get it on order. At the last minute I had mentioned possible getting a chair as previously I had a Chase lounge couch and with the dresser it was going to have to go. We ended up choosing Cameron Blue Fabric Chair and matching ottoman. I wanted something that can be an accent piece for my room and something that will last and go with my furniture for years to come. Read moreWhat a joke. Expect terrible service and no follow thru. I bet all the good reviews are a product of their own campaign. This is the second purchase I have made from City. The first time they did not inform me until they showed up at the house that the footboard for the bedroom set I purchased for my son was on back order with no good date. Problem was you cannot put the bed together at all with out that piece. Two months later it arrived. My payment was made up front. I received several emails apologizing to me and asking me to come to the store for any future needs I had. I did. I gave them a second chance purchased a sectional three months ago. Like the first time paid in full up front. Same story backorder. It has been three months. I am told I will have a delivery tomorrow but will not hear when until 8 pm the night before. What kind of elementary scheduling department is this. Do they really believe their customers have nothing else to do but wait for them. I purchased from the Ocoee store. Kevin you have not returned any of my emails for the past three months. Yes I called you out. You should not get any commission you did nothing. I brought the sale to you. Read moreAbsolutely disasterous customer service.No accountabilty , no follow throught , no leadership. Received my furniture six months ago with no hard ware. Went back to the store where we purchased the furniture and was directed to the customer service. Four and half hour later through a chat conversation box with representatives in India, I was promised my hard ware to put my furniture together would be delivered in 10 weeks time. Promised by customer service center and the manager at the origional purchasing store I would receive the hard ware. So promised the hardware twice , across two different departments! Scheduled flights back to florida for now, the second time to assemble furniture and the hardware that was sent was incorrect and had 6 screws in an envelope? Pictures were sent to customer service back in march of hardware required. You can see from the reviews that below that they "strive" to provide good customer service, you have failed miseralbly! How about changing your mission statement to 'we Commit to providing quality customer serivce' and then deliver what you commit to.
