Nails by Chris — Attraction in Thomasville

I recently visited this location on May 2nd, 2017 and had the worst experience ever. I received a fill in with gel polish. Once getting to the car the polish had already started messing up. I know you're thinking how does gel polish mess up that quick? These were my same thoughts. I went back in to get them fixed. Once I got home anything that pressed against my nails caused the polish to still mess up.I could not return the next day since I had a scheduled appointment elsewhere after work. When I did return on the following Thursday the nail tech "Sun" started to repair my nails. However, in the middle of her repairing my nails she asked if I had time to return the next day because her scheduled appointment had arrived. I told her no since it was already a hassle having to return, and the next day was my graduation day! She then moved me to a different nail tech to finish my nails. That was very unprofessional for her to ask if I could return AGAIN for a THIRD time to fix something that was clearly their fault, and then push me off to a different nail tech! I come to this nail salon all the time and have never experienced what I did that day. Needless to say they can't handle getting busy or a small rush (that's when service gets crappy).Also, it hasn't even been two weeks yet since the repair and the gel polish is already chipping. I am very dissatisfied and will not be returning!! They have lost a loyal customer, and I'm sure will lose more if they don't step up with...

Normally I don’t do reviews and I love nails by Chris but on this day I went in to get a pedicure and a manicure. I got there at 9:33. I left at 12:54. I received my pedicure first and I wanted a tip on my big toe, I was told first that only certain people do that I even ask the manager at this time as I seen her grab people that just walked in who are going to do my toes. She told me Mike didn’t want to do them because he messed them up last time which I don’t recall when I asked Mike about it he said he didn’t have the equipment which I thought was crazy isn’t it the same equipment, You use for the nails. I’ve gotten this done several times I understand if that manager felt she was overwhelmed but I am pissed at this moment I left and my toes aren’t completely done. Then she blamed it on miscommunication after I asked her who was going to do my toes, she told me Hannah, but proceeded to put people in Hannah‘s chair at this time. I’m just sitting waiting after Mike told another young lady she told the manager she came to me and said anyone could’ve done it well if that was the case? why was I just sitting here , my toes could’ve been done pissed I am so pissed If Chris was there, I know this would not have happened again. I got there at 9:33. I left at 12:54 because. Everyone that came after me was gone! I had a 130 appointment that I couldn’t miss . so now I gotta go back on my only day off to sit. God knows how long to get just two of my toes done,...

I am visiting here in town, and what I’ve noticed is that people don’t leave enough Google reviews to direct newcomers to the appropriate businesses .

My nails were fine, but they didn’t bother to file my daughters toes for her pedicure they just looked raggedy And she didn’t know any better than to ask, but why should she ask when she’s receiving a pedicure? The eyebrow service..I don’t know if I should say that I’m extremely disappointed or that I am shocked. I have never had my eyebrows done so careless and sloppily. Not only was it hygienically unsanitary the shape of my eyebrows are horrifying. Using a cotton swab to determine the direction of your eyebrow hairs, is not the way it works. You’re supposed to take your time with your client and listen to what they are asking for. I was very clear about what I wanted done to my brows, I told her I wanted to keep them thick and natural and just to remove any stray hairs, that’s not what happened. I’m even more upset that I am about to go on vacation looking Lille a shaved rat. She even left a balled spot. I am trying to find a way to leave photos. Please stay tuned.
