Rock Bottom Seafood & Grill — Restaurant in Thomasville

Very disappointed with the service and food tonight. After eating At this establishment over 50 plus times. I couldn't believe attitude of the waitress. First thing we have a party at 5. They sit us in a corner booth that holds three. We had to get two chairs. So the waitress comes and takes our drink order after us sitting there for 15 minutes. We was ready to order our food and she just walked off after taking our drink order. Another 10 minutes went by. She's not that busy. Text my son's order and then walks off. Once I was only able to get her attention I told her the rest of us are ready to give our order. She was taking the order from another child. Or teenager. My wife was trying to help with the order. And the waitress put her hand up in front of her face and hushed her. She never set one plate of food down on a table she was handing the food to the teenager to hand everybody else. She ended up throwing our check on the table not setting it down or handing it to an adult. We were getting ready to leave and she wanted to refill our glasses. And that would have been the first and only refill that she decided to come and give us. The grits for soupy. She didn't bring all the food out together we had to ask three times for garlic bread. Mayonnaise. I've seen them do better. Definitely would not happy with my $80 bill eating four it's very small catfish and telling me it's a large. I probably...

I was somewhat surprised today first we told the waitress that we were expecting another person to come join us. At this time we 4 were sitting at a small table for 4. When our other friend arrived we had to fend for ourselves and move another table to ours and switch around chairs. We had no help or directions from our waitress for she was running around like a chicken very busy with other customers. I ordered child size fried shrimp, salad with blue cheese dressing. My shrimp was served cool to the touch and the hush puppies were cold. I was slightly disappointed cause I love fried shrimp and fresh hush puppies that melt the butter once applied. To top it off the salad dressing that I was served was ranch not blue cheese. After all that, I ate the food even though it wasn't what I had expected to be served. This place was so crowded people and waitresses were running into each other maybe this could have been the problem today? Too many people, not enough room to sit, seating yourself situation that could be improved. Maybe hot meal and good tasting...

Never thought I’d experience racism but my little family and I decided to go eat at Rock Bottom Seafood in Thomasville, GA. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with a few other black families.. I didn’t think anything of it. But as I sat there and just looked around I noticed all the black people were sitting in the back whilst the others were seated in the front and center. So immediately I’m mad 🤬 we had already ordered but didn’t receive our food yet so I told my husband I hope another black family comes in so that I can see if this is really happening. And by the grace of God another black family comes in and guess where they are seated … right in the back with the rest of us 🙃 Mind you before that black family came in there were others that came in and yessss they were sat in the front and center.
