Hot Diggity Dogs — Restaurant in Thomasville

This was my first time...it wasn't what I expected. I know people have to make their money but some of the prices could be adjusted. I've never been somewhere where you have to show your receipt to pick up your food...well my sister girl and I were asked to show our receipt even though we sat right in front of the register and there was no one else ordering at that time.we watched some people come in ,order ,and wait for their food. When the number was called out with no receipt shown and no problems picked up their food. Then we were talking and still eating we were asked if we needed a container to go ...just out the blue...maybe nothing was meant by it but it kinda felt like we were being rushed out...so we got our container...

I had high expectations of this place going in. I went based on a recommendation from a friend. When I got there, I started noticing things that made me think this food was going to be great. Listening to the cashier and the cook talk about a regular order for a regular customer, lots of locals eating, nothing is cooked in advance..all made my expectations even greater. The food exceeded my lofty expectations..the people were friendly, the price was reasonable, but let me mention the food again. Holy cow! The chili cheese tater tots were unreal! The hamburger was everything I had been told and more. I can't wait to go back through Thomasville again just...

I love their slaw dogs with mustard. I crave their beefy dogs. They're the best.

Their chili is terrible. It's just minced ground beef with almost NO flavoring. Awful chili.

They don't have melty cheese which would be such a fantastic option for their chili cheese dogs.

I haven't had a burger but they look pretty good.

Atmosphere is out dated and dark but honestly it's better than some of these other places that's just so loud and modernized. It's fine.

Going in and out of their bathroom, which is always clean, feels like you're going on stage in front of everyone.

Despite the chili, this is my favorite...
