I love this store 6am - 10pm. The problem is most of the time I’m at the store after 10pm. Anyone who works long hours, or split shifts like I do finds it hard to come to your third job and bag your own groceries. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a lazy person. I realize the world is changing and everyone and everything is self sufficient and self service. However, what happened to customer service?! I dont see how this possibly saves money. Tonight their was one self checkout lane open. Three people behind me and I had almost $200 in groceries. Not only did the customers have to stand and watch me fight and struggle with getting my groceries out of the cart, look up prices for all my produce, load all the items on the narrow bagging area and continue to have the register loudly announce that I need to put my items back in the bagging area, but I had two employees just stand and watch me! When I asked if one of the employees could at least check out the person behind me, they just replied, nope. Its like this every time I go to any Kroger. Would it kill the budget to have an employee ( just throwing it out there - the same cashier watching me do this and standing next to me 99.9% of the time to run their “super badge” over my register so I can throw in another item). On the other hand the store promotes ordering online. So, let me get this straight.....someone goes around the store and gathers my groceries and I can simply pick them up at the door and I can even get a coupon, but no one can assist a tired, overworked customer check out after 10p! Tell me I’m not alone. Message me on Facebook if you agree. Maybe I’m unrealistic, but it doesn’t seem...
Read moreI have been getting my groceries from this store for multiple months and today we had a pickup order in which they forgot two items. My husband went to the store to get this corrected and the employee would do nothing for us. It was Kroger’s fault for forgetting the items and we were charged for them and they did not want to help us. The customer service representative was rude and unhelpful. We showed them the receipt and invoice showing we had been charged for the two missing items and had not received them and they stated we needed to call a quick list number which we did not have and could not find. The customer service representative at the store would not assist in finding the number for us to call and only after explaining the situation several times to them did they only give us one of the items. He would not give us the other item or reimburse us for it even though we were charged it was shown in the invoice that were were charged. I have been a loyal customer at this Kroger and it’s unacceptable to be treated like this after giving them my business for so long. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Do not use Kroger pickup at this location. They want your money and they do not care how...
Read moreUpdate - the self checkouts with conveyor belts are truly terrible. I've only made it through once without having to wait on an attendant to tell the machine to continue. Just sat groceries on the thing and it moved the belt backwards and nearly ripped up the packaging against the end of the belt. When I picked it up to stop it from destroying the package, it flagged it and called over an attendant. Got a carbonated drink you're about to open and don't want to send it tumbling down the belt? Too bad, the machine thinks you're shoplifting and now you gotta wait on an employee. Then when you've convinced the machine to let you pay, you still have to go to the end and bag up everything afterwards while the next person's groceries are tumbling down the line, instead of just bagging as you go.
Old Review - Not usually one to complain, but there's rotten produce left on the shelf. Two separate times I've gone and tried to get some habaneros and both times they've had rotten habaneros on the shelf. All shriveled up with white moldy fuzz growing out of the stems. These two pictures were taken 9/23 & 10/13. Makes you wonder what all else in the...
